Thank you for your reply.Assuming you're talking about your home system and not the other one, there's a number of things working against you. It's a high population system so that reduces the effects you can achieve (well done in getting up to Expansion in there btw). While your influence is high, even occasional inputs for the factions down the bottom, either from in the system or external missions targeting them, will have a much larger benefit to them at your expense. It's not like one of them is surging up, just that they're all increasing a little, and because they're all bunched at low influence, all taking from your faction.
I'd suspect that it's just a coincidental increase in passing players taking missions for the other factions. Or perhaps some players based in a nearby system that generates incoming missions for those factions.
My advice would be don't worry about it if your influence settles around the 40-50% level, which looks likely, you'll still have a very comfortable margin over the others. That in turn will let the other factions move up a little to where they don't get as much benefit from random input and generally let the system settle into a steady-state.
If you're looking to continue expanding it'll be so much easier to do it from your second system, which due to the much smaller population will be far easier to manipulate.
Overall these things tend to be caused by 'random' changes in the behaviour of other players, making your system suddenly popular for some reason (faction states, proximity to certain other systems, a wealth of certain mission types, some player(s) setting up home nearby, etc.) rather than weird and unlikely system or faction specific bugs.
Good luck and best wishes for your fledgling space empire![]()
In our home system with 7 billions of population, we have achieved the expansion state and we are now in another system with only 80k population.
In this new system, we tried to expand and it goes well but two weeks ago, it just stops.
In our home system, i was also trying the retreat of a MF and two weeks ago suddenly it was impossible to drop the influence of this MF. I tried to make influence for our player faction, but it didn't work.
I leave this system and another people of muy squadron did the same and it works.
We worked 4 months in our home system, even with some unexpected drops in our PMF, but never so clear.
Now, the problem is not drops or unexpected effects. It is just that there is no reaction to my actions. It can be due to random actions from other players, of course, but I star thinking that it is not normal.
In the new system, we have only 20% influence and daily 50 inf+ makes a drop of -0,5%. Three days in a row, for example.
It is like i was doing nothing....
I will check today again and if there is no change, i will open a ticket and rest until something is fixed.
It is really frustrating!
