Notice September Update - Known Issues

AFAIK you will earn more Arghs...uhm...Arx...when selling the data. I would propose you want to sell it page by page to be sure not to overshoot the limit.

As I understand is: You will get Arx mainly by making transactions...like selling data...handing in Bounties or selling goods.
If this is the case, that’s a disaster for explorers on long journeys - on DWII, there were periods of weeks or months when I didn’t set down at a port. Not really fair that the arx cap will limit gains for exploration in this way, unless FDev really want to discourage long-distance exploration. Or, I guess, incentivize filling the galaxy with fleet carriers. Either way, kinda stinks for the old play style of spending months out in the black alone and without resupply.

I managed to break the tutorial.
Requested docking while heading to the mail slot. Computer took over to take me away from the station again when I had approved docking. I then sat out there unable to control the ship with docking permissions but the next step was to request permission.

Soooo for those of us who only mine are we going to be compensated for not being able to play?

Get real. Why would that happen? It's a game. I have some compensation for you, have a biscuit buscuit.jpg

I know but they NEED to give you more for the exploration part since many explorers don't visit a station every week so you will make next to nothing then either hit the limit right away when selling all that data or spend weeks selling it over time. This is forces people who explore deep space to either return once a week (this is mostly not viable) or not earn ARX. This player type has effectively been ignored when considering the ARX system.

? You earn ARX by just jumping between systems. Not as many as I'd like, but no need to return.

I was just getting on to see if the stored modules got patched yet. I wasn't playing again until this got fixed, even considered an uninstall and not playing again for a while, and clearing my save to start over. I wasted waaaay too much time engineering to deal with doing it again for all my modules. Thank the Elders of the Universe they fixed it.....

.... it has been fixed though, right....? I'm scared to log on lol

The issue is balance you could play 24/7 and not get to 400 in a week. Where as any other game play including selling and buying amour for a ship in a loop you get 400 very fast.

Good, Frontier are moving - even if it's a snails pace. so on launch the new arx store was missing, the domain name didn't even resolve to an IP address.
Today I try it and it does resolve - but to the wrong machine or maybe the right machine with the wrong certificate on it :)
Maybe next week sometime we'll have a properly secured store to buys Arxs - assuming enough bugs are fixed to make it worth while.

As someone that works in IT and works with cloud, web and certs etc - this makes Frontier look like amateurs.
