Hey Audio Team, - I hope you are suitably frustrated by the fact that bugs are impacting on peoples ability to hear your amazing work:
https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/881

Things like this might be relativey small, but they're an integral part of the game, and for those of us who come out of the black every few months, the silence experienced in this bug is a damning indictment of the lack of testing and QA placed on new features. It also sucks. Go have a chat with your teams because we're literally not hearing your work, the Issue Tracker seems to be the place where issues go to die rather that a key focal point for improvement.

I think a large part of the problem, for me personally at least..is I have no faith that FD actually will fix the outstanding issues OR deliver any of the things they say they will when they say they will.

And why would I? How could I?
...
But aside from the shills and the delusional white knights...i would expect most people ...aren't brimming with confidence right now.

I think Frontier have shown themselves to be pretty good at improving things when they set their minds to it. Mining, Exploration & Engineering revisions have been excellent.

Well, it looks like there are Star Citizen people working inside FDev, huh? So many delays...

FDev - OK guys, we'll have Fleet Carriers for you in december/2018!
FDev- Well... on a second thought we are delaying the FCs and the Ice worlds to 2019
FDev -OK guys, now it's a go! December/2019 will bring you the FCs.
FDev- No... wait... sorry, we are delaying the FCs to at least after april/2020.

I even fear if they say anything about the FCs next year, because it might just another delay.

But then, yes, it is good that FDev is FINALLY paying attention to OLD BUGS; it's nice they decided to pay attention to what the community asked a long time ago (hello beta tests). Let's see how things will unfold

Fleet carriers, same with ice surface upgrades, was all part of a free update. All Star Citizen delayed content has been paid for by the community as far as I know. If you want to discuss that further the SC thread is over here.

I feel they just say... "We have not manpower enouhg to fix bugs and to creat content at same time."

Company must not dump your mistakes on your customers. Company must not break promise based on customer's request you like. very
cowardly! Everybody tell you to fix bugs, nobody tell you to delay FC.

I'm serious though. Wouldn't it make more sense to fix the bugs after all the new bugs show up?
Or fix bugs that may hopefully prevent some of those future bugs from appearing? If you HAD the opportunity to correct some of your work now, or just let it pile onto more work you’ll have in the future, wouldn’t you take care of it now, first, BEFORE you get the additional work you KNOW will come?

Can we all just realize that bugs are mistakes made by the Developer that should have been fixed before any update goes live. We are having another 6 month delay on a feature already delayed by a year, so that the Dev team can have extra time to fix their own mistakes. Therefore we are having a feature delayed due to Devs inability to not suck at their job. This shows us the size of the dev team left to work on Elite. Too small and too inept.
