Yeah, with all the new dinosaurs it's actually almost do-able...Seeing as how the expansion is out and delivered so much new content, now is the perfect time to bring this challenge back to everyone's attention!
I'm actually going to give this challenge a second try once I've finished the expansion!
The possibilities with all the new content are endless ♥
Yeah my only real concern outside of sandbox mode is I'm wondering if the social modifications are available with JP challenge mode cause when it comes to the Rexes, we're back at square one with the game not allowing us to have 2 of them.Yeah, with all the new dinosaurs it's actually almost do-able...
• Tyrannosaurus - 2 (One T-Rex as the Adult, one Albertosaurus as the Juvenile)
• Maiasaura - 21
• Stegosaurus - 4
• Triceratops - 8
• Procomsognathus - 49 (Compsognathus works as a replacement)
• Othnielia - 16 (Dracorex or Stygimoloch would be my suggested replacement... or maybe Struthiomimus)
• Velociraptor - 8
• Apatosaurus - 17 (Replaced by Camarasaurus in some versions)
• Hadrosaurs - 11 (Edmontosaurus works fine)
• Dilophosaurus - 7
• Pterosaurs - 6
• Hypsilophodontids - 33 (Dryosaurus... which I'm pretty sure was the specific Genus featured in the novel)
• Euoplocephalus - 16
• Styracosaurus - 18
• Microceratops - 22 (I suggest Homalocephale)
nope, in jp challenge mode, everything is as is in the dlc campaign. nothing from dr. wu's dlc and nothing from claire's. just the 25 dinos. but this time with a hatchery. not the arrival helipad as the hatchery. which irritates me so much. especially not having the arrival helipad as a hatchery. using rangers to tranq and then helicopters to transport? why not just use the copters to tranq in the first place. lolYeah my only real concern outside of sandbox mode is I'm wondering if the social modifications are available with JP challenge mode cause when it comes to the Rexes, we're back at square one with the game not allowing us to have 2 of them.

I could add more but, I'll probably save it for when I try to do the challenge a second time with 1993.You sure you only have 16 Othnielia…?
Whoosh..?I could add more but, I'll probably save it for when I try to do the challenge a second time with 1993.
Its based on the number presented on the InGen list so I guess it just has to be 16 unless you're going to do the park based on the dinosaur count without proper breeding fail-safes in place.Whoosh..?
I could be wrong, but IIRC, Dryosaurus is probably also the closest thing we have to Othys.Yeah, with all the new dinosaurs it's actually almost do-able...

Yes it is, but again, I'm pretty sure the "hypsilophodontids" we're in fact Dryosaurus.I could be wrong, but IIRC, Dryosaurus is probably also the closest thing we have to Othys.
This does sound like a neat idea though.
