I’m sorry but I don’t think I can, not sure it is just Elite though might be any multiplayer game. I have heard this in the fights about having Open only anything.Ooooh, really now?
Ok, I admit I did not look at this ever before, but I just learned that Elite requires a Microsucks Gold xbox subscription for online multiplayer such as squadron etc. if I am not mistaken. Tell me I got that wrong please.
Have you seen those Cyto's in action?I would go for pacifiers and packhounds yep, the cytos, enforcers, hammer etc. not so much.
I would love my SLF to be able to hold advanced plasma accelerators though.

The good thing is that it seems easiest to determine the effects when on a planet, which gives me an excellent reason to boost around in canyons. It does cause a few rebuys...
I'm not entirely sure that doing the canyon boostin' in a 700+m/s Eagle will help avoiding any rebuys. It certainly doesn't work for me.You should be able to avoid those rebuys by doing the boosting in a SLF.
If you insist on a real ship, try one of the small ships (Sidey or Viper for preference - but anything that takes Enhanced Thrusters will do). If you build them for speed, 750..850 m/s boost is possible.

I love flying the Mamba. Guess some of you might have noticed.

However, I haven't used the Mamba that much for combat, and I wanna try those cytoscramblers, so I'm considering going lawless. Catch me if you can:

I think the Flak cannon is the one causing the "trajectory disruption" warning.Nice looking motor
I did mine in "British Racing Green" and called it "Chocks Away!".

Had my first foray into a HAZRES. Surprisingly, I came out of it relatively unscathed and with about a million CR in profit. I'm too cautious to say I'm in any way a good fighter though and I don't have the nous to take on an elite in a bit of 1x1 ultraviolence.
That experience bar to the next rank is creeeeeping aloing.
And I'm getting hit with something about "trajectory attack" or something.
So much to learn!
If you go with plasmas, you should focus on just two things - heat generation and projectile speed. Range doesn't matter in itself, but it is ONE of the mods that increase the speed of the blob, which helps a great deal with aiming (and more importantly - hitting things)I'm considering 2x large and 1x huge plasmas for the bad Mamba. They get hot, but the sound of those thingies...
Any suggestion for good experimentals for plasmas? Considering efficient, since they are fixed, but some say they are easier to aim with long range?

Although if you are going with PAs just because they sound good, may I suggest you try large and huge cannons? That thing is epic. You will need something else to deal with shields, but as far as the sound and the satisfying feeling of hitting things goes, the cannon wins in my books by a landslide.
I'm using the Cytoscramblers on my Chieftain and I like it. Perfect use of the 3 small hardpoints to me!Ying Yang

The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the “twist stick yaw” pots die after a while. This is a known issue with the T16000, but it isn’t a huge problem in my opinion, because you can either use the throttle paddles for yaw, or get a separate set of peddles.
The binds set up is quite a task, but well worth itIf you haven’t seen it / use it, take a look at the EDReference Card page, which will print out a gorgeous reference sheet with labelled buttons and sticks to print out. The thread is here ED Ref Card and the actual website is here https://edrefcard.info/
