Quality of Life: One Thing

I was just missing one thing:

But after reading this thread I realize I need more...

FD please gimme:
Universal Limpet Controller

CQC launch from in game
Cross save
HUD color/item configuration
Controller config file import/export from game menus
Being able to see the engineering mods on stored ships
Crossplay
Ingame Inara.cz
Colored bookmarks
Movable pilot chair/removable bars in certain ships

Tell us flatly that Raxxla is actually in-game.

They cant comment or speculate 'on anything that has not been found by a player'

Raxxla is in game, probably in the 99% of unexplored galaxy (or at least unvisited, could just as easily be in any system where peeps just honked n jumped) They don't care if we find it or not its probably not part of any storyline, they do want and need us to find the Thargoids, Guardians and even Zuara etc to move the story forwards.

Most important thing about HUD functionality for me though: All HUD elements must be part of my ship and relate to ingame events and data, and NOT to game things like button prompts. My ship doesn't have a J-button to disengage from supercruise and I don't need to push up to start my engines when sitting on a planet. I don't even get how they made these things not a toggle in a simulation game...
Not just me, then. And they could also cut those annoying station reminders that I have to get permission to enter a stations after I've entered it.

Many people mentioned modules, etc. But, to me, save-able ship configurations that auto load the correct modules would be awesome

better management tools and menus for modules in storage. Name modules and place them into sub headings so i can find them easier.

I swap modules a lot and reconfigure ships for different uses.
Actually quite a few lists need better category options. Find the type of mission you want from the 100 available would be one. I might not care who I work for, but if I'm going from A to B I'd like to find other missions to B that might be available.
.... That sort of thing. 🤔

Yes, definitely.

They might like to adopt the Amazon approach: "Going to Hutton Orbital? You might also like these missions"

If you had one - just one - quality of life improvement that would boost your enjoyment of Elite in general, what would it be?
My own customizable holographic copilot.

  1. A Codex that shows everything instead of practically nothing,
  2. Ability to keep velocity when entering other screens such as the FSA (but still suffer the consequences of moving, of course),
  3. GalNet news that can be read in the cockpit,
  4. Multiple CMDR slots per account,
  5. Better bookmarks,
  6. Customisable cockpit colours,
  7. NPCs as crew members.
And so on.
