SC doesn't turn my webcam on...because I don't have one... through choice.

But then again, I've written exactly zero Expanse books and I'm certainly not popular enough to need to use social media to complain ;)

But how will you express your emotions thought the Star Citizen Immersion Engine without a webcam?

PS: Get writing. I'm sure you could write an epic space opera... probably involving cows in some way.

I decided long ago that I'd save the population of t'internet from having to look at my face too much...If you'd ever seen any of the Skype conferences we hold regularly for the veterans charity work a few of us do...it's worse than trusting that a group of pre-pubescent teenage boys won't show body parts in school photographs.

I use my wife's laptop for that usually...the last one was quite interesting...during a lull in the boring charity commission discussions, I decided to make a coffee. On getting back to the laptop, I found all of them staring at the screens with expressions of abject interest...asking what was amiss, I was answered with.. "We're waiting for you to go make another coffee, when you were away the last time, your wife flashed her boobies at us as she passed."

You can just tell my wife was a former RAF Lieutenant and an air traffic controller, can't you? Can't take her anywhere twice....

/snicker

the original Wing Commander had feline opponents. Imagining a bovine counterpart isnt too much of a stretch eh? :) And in their case their hatred for humanity would actually be understandable once they witness how humans treat their primitive ancestors ^^

Today's video - urm, not an awful lot in it really. Chat system work and of increased importance to the "vision" - but completely pointless and something many gamers turn completely off at the earliest opportunity and find endlessly entertaining ways of dumping it if there's no off switch, prison gameplay that consists of apparently running around mining to buy enough supplies to live, and earn release back into the actual game that you are spending all these game hours not playing, or miraculously escape out of some secret tunnel.

Amazing!

No doubt it'll all fail spectularly and a 30k will grant immediate escape...a bit like it did once again to most of my earned aUEC tonight after I made the grand mistake of trying some cargo hauling instead of mining. 400k aUEC down the toilet once again

I'm binning it until the next patch...

Well, it was for charity i suppose.

the team are already seeing a level of immersion not seen in other narrative-driven games!

Its just pure marketing bull and anyone who swallows this horse manure deserves everything they get.[/SIZE]
Oh, my poor sides!

CIG have really mastered newspeak.

War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, and Ignorance Is Strength
Star Citizen: a product of its time, the time of the orange POTUS.

Well Jeff Minter made a career out of space llamas so space cows could work
Accolade (Legend) tried that with SC* 3.
Many SC* 2 fans treat that one as an alternate universe at best, heresy at worst.

*Star Control of course! CiG "borrows" acronyms too. :p
