PS.
There's no such thing as "Surface Mining" on Planets.
What we have is part of the Looting & Crafting System - there's no Mining Missions onto Planets and there's no means to go Commercial Mining (i.e. Gold, Silver etc.) on Planets.
To me surface mining is gathering raw materials on planets. Are you (FalconFly) the one that decided on your own that gathering raw materials on planets is not surface mining?
That will be coming with Space legs, base building and atmospheric landings.reckon those folks waiting for deployable drills and huge volcanoes might have a long wait on their hands...
... and cockpit cats...That will be coming with Space legs, base building and atmospheric landings.![]()
Eject the cargo close to a black hole or neutron Star.![]()
Possibly the one at Maia.Where is the nearest to the bubble black hole?
I collected a few escape pods the other day while out exploring. Actually for the sake of immersion, since we don't get much from it.
But wouldn't it be cool if there were people attached to these pods? Like, when handing them in, someone would contact us and thank us, or offer a follow-up job, or reward us with some more credits, or a lot more credits if the person is filthy rich. Or maybe they need a job now that their ship is destroyed and offer their crew services for a good price. I'd love that. There would be something attached to these pods which would imply that there is actually a person in there.
Back in the early day, a lot of people would refer to it as surface prospecting. What do you call shooting rocks and collecting raw materials?
I found 6 occupied escape pods from one crash site on Wolfsegen Planet 1. I posted the video @ top of post.
I wish the reward for was higher so the incentive would be greater to pick them up.
