Ok. Went ahead and got the 3rd SLF BP. Had some fun because on the last scan of the magic ORB, my SRV got stuck. Had to use the other SRV to bash the first one to get it loose.

Found (-1 SP) a bit of civilization all the way out here (-1 SP) and replaced the lost SRV.

Probably take a break for a day since I have to work tomorrow then go looking for a PGS for the FSD BP.

Shocking in what way. That last one I was at was no walk in the park. Half way up the side of a mountain. had to actually park inside the ruins.

I also kind'a like going to the out of the way places..

Extremely difficult to get parked, ended up in the ruins, which can cause difficulties deploying the turret when close to the ship.
SYNUEFE NL-N C23-4 has a nice parking spot, I'm grabbing a couple of BPs then checking out some other sites.

Some info from my expedition last month.

Newcomer / Intro - What are you up to?

One of the reasons for picking a multi-crew ship was the use of turrets, 'cos i want a different perspective, but i can't figure out how to activate it.I have crew onboard and five slots,two of which have mining lasers.How can i get to them? Do i need specialised gear?

Well, there was a plus to being inside the ruins,, the PD's definitely had good coverage.
What ship are you in?
I am in twin DBX's with triple PD's.

Yes, although if you take note, they always spawn in the same areas.
Also the Pattern (Epsilon) Obelisk data. One of them is exceptionally hard to get in any quantity.

The sentinels pop up with some regularity, but personally I didn't find them an issue and they were easy to destroy. They cannot be fought from the ship, but if you take a small (or probably medium) ship and land next to the site and equip a point defense on top of the ship, it will help with the missiles that the sentinels shoot at you. Doubt you'll need an AFMU, but if you're unsure about anything, I'd suggest two SRV's in case you lose one.

Ok. The bad news is that the Lat/Long given at the link for the guide for Synuefe NL-N C23-4 are incorrect.

The good news is that if you have carried your DSS with you, you can map the body and get a list of all the Guardian/Ancient stuff.
I suspect the Lat/Long for the Ruin for the EPSILON DATA is also incorrect.

When you start activating stuff, there's a timer starts. Gives you a sense of 'false jeopardy '. Ignore it, don't worry about it.

I enjoy the Guardian sites, very atmospheric.

This means CHARGING THE ENERGY PYLONS..

As long as you don't charge one of these, there is no timer so there is plenty of time to bring up the Sentinels and kill them.

The bad thing is that one of the Sentinels comes up right next to the center Pylon and if it tries to shot you through the Pylon, the Pylon will start to charge and the timer will start.
Also, as best I can tell from the video I have, on one occasion the blast that goes off when the Sentinel is killed activated the Pylon.

I can confirm that the GTC (and the Epslon Obelisk) are always in the same place and on every re-log I am getting 4 GTC drops, (12). I have the site mapped. Plan to clean it up and then clean my Google Drive so I have space to post it.
