This is a parody? Surely. (Even if not intentional)
Saw this too:
Janky as usual one could say... But one can also notice that female armors are less efficient.
I know it's easy to get our kicks in (because its people acting like pretentious gits over star citizen), but to me this doesn't look any more worse than the usual self-important streamer, community 'celebrity', or straight up e-sergeant you see in any gaming community.
Here there is no game, though. So it's extra hilarious....you see in any gaming community.
C'mon now...all of them are way too young to remember LAN parties anywayAll those pristine merch hoodies made me giggle!
Not a single LAN party beer stain, scuff from climbing under a overcrowded coffee table to fetch an errant mouse your mate sent flying with an actual backside deathblow, solder burn from fixing an NIC in an emergency, cobwebs from scrambling up into the attic to grab an extra monitor and rig as an unexpected guest arrives.
You may be right, but I'll be honest this is the first video of 'this type' that I've seen and have watched plenty of ED and NMS YouTubers, and this is still a revelation to me, so perhaps I have just been lucky to date.
I guess you'll find these near military focused or heavily "serious" competitive games, or the kind that help with e-peen issue?
...Case in point, for anyone who wants a giggle (and particularly Messr Mole)...
Oh Arma 3!
I was sooooo looking forward to it, having sunk hour upon hour into Arma 2, building missions, scripting takes offs, landings, airdrops, synchronising music, intro's, out-tro's... omg... I get tumescent just thinking about the sound of an approaching Chinook for exfiltration... (aka doing a 'brave Sir Robin')... and then skidding along over tree tops... music blaring.....
<....breath.... breath.... breath....>
<...one cold shower later...>
Anyway... I loaded it up, messed around for about 70 hours, and erm, decided 'I'd get back to it'. That was 2016.![]()
It's worth a look again, there's a lot new to the game, even at vanilla....
Because they're asking, and they're good at it, because they need it, because they're not fist full of money.
I know it's easy to get our kicks in (because its people acting like pretentious gits over star citizen), but to me this doesn't look any more worse than the usual self-important streamer, community 'celebrity', or straight up e-sergeant you see in any gaming community.

At this point, Cloud Imperium needs to just stop looking for money and actually produce something tangible.
I agree, I have gotten way more out of SC than almost any other game. The development is coming along great these days.
I payed like 40 bucks for access to a game that has been consistently updating and improving with a clear roadmap and regular milestones being reached.
Please understand this: Star Citizen is a completely different game than nearly everything in existence. It is on a larger scale than its competition, it is COMPLETELY crowd funded, and it fills a very specific niche for a game than many players have been asking for ever since before it's development started.
The game is produced by a company that was created literally by the money he made from the investors interested in the said game's pitch. Chris Roberts produced movies prior to this and his only game was nothing compared to the scale of the Star Citizen project. RSI was built around making this one game.
It is going to take the development team a lot of time to produce this and do it right. It is going to take a lot of money to do the same. So please, before sharing your "insight" with the world, delve deeper into the background and actually try out the game. (The alpha is open and playabale, assuming you have a capable computer and internet speed)
True enough. And i'll happily express my disdain towards any of their ilk.
Strangely enough, i don't think i've really seen anyone like that in relation to ED.
