I won't be able to afford a carrier but if anyone needs someone to keep her fueled and other basic maintenance. I'll be glad to assist and be assigned to a carrier.

A bunch of carriers heading for Sag A* and beyond will likely go through the Centre so expect a few refuelling ops up there.

Hi all. Not sure if this has been covered (haven't read all 17 pages yet...), but:
Can I sign up to ship out with someone as a bubble-based support ship?
If I someone needs a passenger to bring a hold full of Tritium and help mine more along the way then just tell me where and when I need to meet up with a carrier and I'll be there.

Most definitely. There are a few expeditions launching throughout June and the months that follow. One of the inaugural expeditions (The Aphelion Expedition) will have at least 6 DSSA Carriers taking part, and we'll be putting a call out for as many support ships as possible to come along and help get those Carriers to where they need to be.

I'll post the expedition outline in a few weeks time, along with sign up details

I'm pretty sure nearly all of the FC Cmdrs who travel to the more far away regions will be happy to have some support on board.
So interested ppl may check the spreadsheet linked in the Op, decide which region they would like to go to, and contact the CMDR(s) in charge of that region directly...
Just a suggestion of course, maybe Q is already working on a form for this cases

You'll likely never see a carrier, unless you specifically look up their locations and go to them.

Or if you have the misfortune of a canopy breach, in which case we Hull Seals will call a "Code Black" and deploy mining seals to sites where you can replenish your life support mats until you can make it to a carrier base.

Oh, have I been booted from this then? That's... perplexing. I've been blithely looking at the deployment map for Tenebrae and thinking "oh, two carriers, guess that guy's coming along for the ride"...

...blithely reading the articles thinking, hey, that's cool, I'm pleased to be a part of this...

...blithely spending time raking in the credits thinking, I need to do my part...

@Qohen Leth : I changed my mind, and will be moving my carrier to the Norma Expanse (region 10) instead. Since you listed that region as still open, I hope that's alright with you. The chosen system is tentative, but it'll be somewhere around the edge of the permit-locked subsector there. It's not near to the other two carriers' locations either.
This also means a spot in the Vulcan Gate (region 32) opened up.

You just haven't filled up the form in time but you still have a spot in Tenebrae.

Re: Scouting locations in the Formadine Rift.
I've updated the intended destination of my FC.
The old location (Maia's Jewell) was only 9 jumps into the sector and quite close to the existing stations in the Elysian Shores.
So I've found a new destination 7000 LYs farther on in the Outer Arm.
