Food Quality and Vet Visits

Hello!
I have a couple of questions.

1. All my animals have been fully researched and all my habitats have their food quality set to grade 3, I've double and triple checked, yet they frequently have an orange poor last meal quality in their welfare. Why is this? I'm paying for Grade 3 food quality so surely I should be receiving the benefits of Grade 3 food quality?

2. All my habitats have my vets set to visit every month; I changed them all manually. Yet my vets aren't visiting any of my habitats unless I manually send them. If I forget, every 3 years I get multiple notifications from all my habitats saying that the vet hasn't visited in a long time (3 years). I have no research to do except advanced, so why is this happening? None of them have a high workload.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you :)

About 2. Are your vets researching? I have noticed that if they are they tend to forget their other tasks. I had to hire a new vet who doesn't do research and that fixed the issue. Also requesting them manually to the habitat seems to work too.

That's were I was leaning towards too. In short: How busy are they? You mentioned not having high workload - so that's good.
Do you have a lot of deaths? Do you have a lot of illnesses ? How many Vets do you have? How many Vets are assigned to a workzone or to that workzone? What level are they? Are all tasks selected ?

I know a lot of questions but sometimes it's just a small adjustment to fix this. One of my first zoos had a lot of issues after I finally got access to it (after 2 months not being accessable). I re-organized the entire workzones and that fixed it for me.

Thank you, everyone! I really appreciate the help.

I think the guests must have been throwing food into the habitats as placing the no food signs seems to have improved it, however the Indian Rhino is in a mixed habitat with the Indian Elephant (a 4x4 safari truck also goes through it) and they still seem to be having low food quality despite signs on the overhead walkways?

Vets wise they don't have a high workload, I don't have a lot of illness/disease/deaths and they are only doing advanced research. I have a lot of vets, they're all in different specific workzones with habitats for that area and will go when requested, and all except 2 I just hired are five-star Master vets. They do all have all tasks selected.

I will send my file to the devs to have a look, thank you :) However, how do I find my saved game file to send? It's a franchise zoo, does that make a difference? Sorry, never done that before...

Hayo!
I just spoke to the devs:
1. Are guests throwing food into the habitats? Or are these animals in mixed species habitats?
2. We need more information on this one to know what the issue is. Send your save file to community@frontier.co.uk and we'll look into this for you!

How many Vets in total in your zoo? And how many of those are doing advanced research?

From my understanding: they will put down their research when you request them to do choirs. Which is happening according to your posts.
And visiting habitats doesn't look like a high priority enough to put down your work on your own. (imo sickness/deaths/injuries are)

Not sure about this one but if you have 2 vets in workzone and both of them are researching - I don't think a vet from another workzone will help (or not that fast)

Doesn't matter if they have a high workload or not, they are doing research (advanced research included) so that's probably why. Try and make them stop and see if that changes it. If not then the problem lies elsewhere.

For your save file, follow the path of: C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo and it will take you to your saves. It's not a problem that it's a Franchise Zoo.

It is 100% because you have them doing advanced research. Hire a vet that doesnt do research amd they will check habitats on their own.
