Where is there any indication of atmosphere? Everybody wears a spacesuit and carries a large gun in the pictures. Not a single word about atmosphere, either. I guess the smiley you added wanted to hint that neither of them actually was mentioned?

Look at the planet they are on. It has an atmosphere.

You mean like you can play Elite without Horizons ... with significant disadvantages because of not being able to access engineers etc.

Yes, but I'd still take that over dropping VR support completely due to new expansion. Of course, I really want VR everywhere. I could live with limiting myself to Horizons if I had to, though (assuming we see the new planet tech too).

On the steampage there is no word about VR-compatibility...can someone just confirm if Odyssey supports VR or not (only if it's supported, not the actual detailed implementation of it).

It always amazes me that so many people need reassurance on these things. The Lifetime Expansion Pass is exactly that.

I can find places right now in the game, where you can have almost the very same hue on the skybox. So you're telling me that we actually were flying in atmosphere in space already since a long time and did not know it?

Sorry, outside of that color potentially being an artistic choice, some nebulas in the game produce the same. If that's all your evidence, please try some more.

Something I've always wondered is how they are going to make space legs controllable with a HOTAS...

The transition to space legs would be jarring enough in VR if it involved switching control methods, without having to switch display as well.

Look when they approach the planet, you see the atmo 'glow' around the edges where light is scattered.

Also, the sky.

Sorry, outside of that color potentially being an artistic choice, some nebulas in the game produce the same. If that's all your evidence, please try some more.

My word... look at the planet. They fly down to an atmospheric world. You can see the rayleigh scattering around it before they land.

I'll just put a gamepad in front of me. ED allows multiple input devices already. Using a gamepad in VR is no problem, and controlling FPS with a gamepad is fine as well.

You can see the atmo as they approach the planet in the very first shot. You are being intentionally dishonest to stir up controversy.
