That life for your planet earth. We need PG life for a huge amount of different planet types, atmospheres and gravity. It's a huge job unless you want the monstrosities from NMS.

Well, seems as if my recent post about player colonization efforts and partying in a Fleet Carrier observation deck weren't quite so Blue-Sky after all (pun intended). Definitely something to look forward to, Space Legs.

My next Cassandra is personal anti-death insurance, financing a full-body clone to be impressed with a player's recorded engrams when someone or something evaporates his/her cranium (no escape pods in the infantry). Yes, the Cylons had it earlier, but the history of science fiction is replete with such concepts so no foul.

Hmmm. Last time I was in-game, which admittedly was some time ago, there were already bodies with atmospheric dust and haze at low levels.

Were you landing on these? Only asking as I have explored a little and never seen anything that comes close to that picture.

Which means absolutely nothing in a pre alpha rendered piece of marketing.

You do know game publishers embellish their marketing with graphical trickery that disappears upon playing the game?

It could well be FD are telling us we are getting atmos landings, but until they actually clearly do, i wouldn't assume anything.

Thank you Frontier. While this is just in-engine, much of it pre-rendered, etc., still looks great and super excited to see some in-game footage. Very, very excited!
