The servers went up at 11am UTC which was 49 minutes ago, I deleted the Beta after it finished. So, no. I’m not jumping the gun lol

Sounds like you downloaded the beta again then. Theres no way the updated servers were up at 11am, you're logging in to the beta.

Yup, my whole squadron is having the same issue. Downloaded the patch but all our saves are from the snapshot.

Seriously, the servers aren't up yet. If people on console have been downloading GB's of data from 11am, it's the beta, no matter what the message says.

Console people tsk tsk tsk... although i find it quite funny that FD fumbles on taking down the entire system when they say the servers are down ...maybe they didnt bother because they dont have to pay for the petabytes of wasted bandwith on PSN and Xboxlive? I bet the ignorant people on those ecosystems will try to download the beta client multiple times and then have to download the ACTUAL build once it goes live AGAIN hahaha

I didn't say I had anything against Fleet Carriers or that they shouldn't be in a Fleet Carrier update, as a matter of fact I think they're a great addition, no matter what I intend to do with them, I'm just saying that I'm unimpressed that there is absolutely nothing else in it. It's not like we get updates every other day, is it?

Defo down at my end, no upgrade when opening launcher, get into the menu and say can't connect, servers down for Maintenance, just tried again.
Good on you if you have the game, pity you can't buy a FC though!!

I am a complete newbie when it comes to this so please forgive my question.
I recently got the complete ED on PS4. Once this new update is complete and the servers are back up again, will I have to download this update via my Playstation?
