Is that close to where we intended? Right direction at least?
Looks to be not on the direct line to Sol, but definitely in the right direction.
It's not bad ...

Our expansion is compete. We have arrived at Anyanwu, exactly as planned.
Proof that The Dark Wheel can expand.

We are in expansion cooldown in LFT 926 (technically all systems, but that doesn't matter!)
We are pending war in Anyanwu. This gives us a day to prepare things in our favour.
The high level of influence in LFT 926 gives us an opportunity to expand again in the direction of Lave while we work on Anyanwu.

Tasks for today:

Bounty Hunting & Combat:
  • Bounty Hunting in LFT 926. hand in only TDW bounty vouchers into any station LFT 926
  • Scenarios at installations or megaships in LFT 926 generate TDW bounties that can be handed in to any station in LFT 926

Commodity Trading
- run profitable trades to 'Meredith City" in LFT 926

Missions & Passengers
- Run TDW missions in LFT 926

Exploration Data:
- Sell to 'Meredith City' in LFT 926

Please continue to use EDMC or similar tools to keep local data up to date.

Keep Spinning The Wheel, Hamsters!

The pending war state means we cannot influence TDW or Earls in Anyanwu today.
We can however move the other factions around so we avoid other conflicts on our way to the top.

Today only Special activities are to run missions or hand in relevant bounties for
Anyanwu Life Group in Anyanwu.

This should push them into conflict with the faction above them and we should be able to jump past them once our war with Earls is done.

Shooting starts tomorrow. Combat zones often take a few hours to get going after tick, so have a bit of patience.

System security is slipping in LFT 926. I havent been on since last night but we were in the white instead of the green. Was there a reason we started handing in bounty vouchers at other places than Meredith City that i missed over the last few days while i havent been as active on here? Also happiness in lft 926 has dropped from elated to happy. Both of these may have changed since last night already, i just wanted to point it out in case it went unnoticed.

🍻

Yep, we've been sending most of the bounty work over to Shinrarta on previous days.

Having security slip in LFT 926 might work to our advantage actually, as we are on the edge of being low enough that we get a compromised nav beacon and Interstellar Factors in our system.

For today and probably a couple more days we want the bounties to go to LFT 926 again.

Thanks Ian.

A little insight into what has gone on over the last little while:

We plotted several paths towards Sol. I sat there for hours looking at the in-game map and inara pages to look for likely systems. I then evaluated each one in my faction BGS tool to verify that they were actually in the expansion cube. This resulted in two alternative paths towards Sol, but unfortunately would have involved a couple of player factions on the way. I was in discussions with one of my Rabid Hamsters about this and he asked for all my data to build up a spreadsheet. Later that day he'd abandoned the spreadsheet idea, and rejected my (already filtered) data and written a tool to read raw data from EDSM API to plot a better path. The systems we are using on our way to Sol are the result of his work.

Rabid Hamsters have been moving influence around in a number of systems over the last 10 days or so. In a lot of systems they prevented retreats, fixed up the influence loss due to Infrastructure Failures and the results of lost conflicts. They also attacked Earls in Anyanwu. The result was that Anyanwu system had the lowest non-native faction that was not in a conflict, anywhere within the expansion cube from LFT 926. This meant monitoring somewhere around 100 systems, though really only 25 or so were in any danger.

Our path to NEAR Sol will have at least two more hops. The preferred system for the next step is in extreme range of Sol, about 23 LY or so. Edit: actually around 29 ly.

Preparing Anyanwu for expansion will take around 10 days at a minimum so we will expand again from LFT 926 once its expansion cool down is over. We are going to take one further system in the path towards Lave, though the rest of that project will be many months away.
