You do realize that Tritium is an isotope of Hydrogen? It's not like any of these companies invented something. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tritium
 
Of course, but that isn't the point - Borrowing from other games is not a development curve -

They didn't borrow anything. Only because someone makes a game where a reactor uses Tritium as fuel which is a real life element and probably the fuel to use in future fusion reactors doesn't mean that someone else is not supposed to use the exact name for the fuel without being accused to "borrow" it from other games.

You do realize that Tritium is a real thing in real life, right? Are you mad that Elite has "water" worlds - surely Frontier should have their own term for "water".

Now if you want an example of lazy, look at the NPC text comms - that's lazy wrting.
