You Do Realize ,,,

You do realize that Tritium is a real thing in real life, right? Are you mad that Elite has "water" worlds - surely Frontier should have their own term for "water".

Now if you want an example of lazy, look at the NPC text comms - that's lazy wrting.
You don't mean the one " You don't need to scan me officer, I have nothing to find"? P
It's ESL at FD

That No Mans Sky has been using Tritium to power their ships since the beginning of that game -
Fdev has used a lot of other terms from various games in E-D .
How Many Others Have You Noticed ?
They are too lazy to think up their own terms for new additions to the game.
Really? You do realize that Tritium is a real element on the periodic table, not a term from No Man's Sky. Perhaps there are other real elements that Frontier has "plagiarized" such as Carbon and Sulfur. I checked the game and, sure enough, Frontier is actually plagiarizing a lot of terms from science! Let's report them to the Worldwide Hall of International Nuclear Energy Risks Symposium (WHINERS).

Now you have given me an ambition there - to join that world renowned institution!!

fyi: DB has denied even knowing about the Traveller RPG.
I'm surprised by that.
I'd have thought late 70's / early 80's Cambridge students would have been the target market so it would have least been discussed, however if DB says he's never heard of traveler then you've got to believe him.

Perhaps Ian's friends were players.

Beer World, or even better, Single Malt World.
Yup want that when planet legs come out.
Now I'm mad because they used water, ugh, what were they thinking, every other game out there uses water, such cheap developing.
This Commander is the finest person I haven't met yet.
Didnt Laibach/Iron Sky use Tritium as the story for finding fuel on the dark side of the occupied moon?
Y'see I need more scotch....n beer....but mostly scotch. And beer.
Oh hang on it was Hydrogen3 or something. should have been scotch...or beer.

...and yet Ian Bell acknowleded it way back when.

Info that claims DBOBE did very much know all about 'The Traveller'!!
''In the Reddit AMA Elite co-creator David Braben was asked about this, he answered that he never played Traveller but his partner Ian Bell did.''
