That was an interesting read - David Braben apparently played the RPG “Space Opera” which may have influenced a few things in the original game - I found the alien races particularly fascinating, especially those beings who have been born in low-G environments:...and yet Ian Bell acknowleded it way back when.

Last i checked there was only 1 English language. Pretty sure there is no "French English", "German English" or "Japanese English"
Correct, but you say the same when you hear a French english or a British english? I'm hungarian, if I hear american accent, I understand about the half, same with british accent is about 35-40%. (sorry Zac) When Mr Antonacci speak, the percentage is down to 10.

There's a noticeable difference between the english spoken by Americans, British and Australians with a sizable difference in dialect and vocabulary. It's not making anyone seem clever to pretend there isn't
