Thoughts on princess astrophel and the spiraling stars...
Kepler wrote a science fiction novel ... Somnium (one of the earliest books of science fiction)
The book starts out with the narrator reading about the heroine Libuse - celebrated in the magical arts, after which he falls into a sleep dreaming about the stars and moon. Libuse being a magical princess who became queen and founded the city of Prague. Somnium is an interesting look into the life of Kepler ..(his mother was tried as a witch). . but also it talks about a gateway from Iceland - (which he points out was ancient Thule) where daemons can travel between Lavania (the moon) and earth - During the Eclipses.
Ya Kepler and the harmony of the spheres along with this story tied into Plutarchs story of the face in the moon (which kepler supposedly said partly inspired him) ties in the neoplatonism ideas..
section 29
"So much for the moon's substance. As to her breadth or magnitude, it is not what the geometers say but many times greater. She measures off the earth's shadow with few of her own magnitudes not because it is small but she more ardently hastens her motion in order that she may quickly pass through the gloomy place bearing away the souls of the good which cry out and urge her one because when they are in the shadow they no longer catch the sound of the harmony of heaven. At the same time too with wails and cries the souls of the chastised then approach through the shadow from below. That is why most people have the custom of beating brasses during eclipses and of raising a din and clatter against the souls, which are frightened off also by the so‑called face when they get near it, for it has a grim and horrible aspect. It is no such thing, however; but just as our earth contains gulfs that are deep and extensive, one here pouring in towards us through the Pillars of Heracles and outside the Caspian and the Red Sea with its gulfs, so those features are depths and hollows of the moon. The largest of them is called "Hecatê's Recess," where the souls suffer and exact penalties for whatever they have endured or committed after having already become Spirits; and the two long ones are called "the Gates", for through them pass the souls now to the side of the moon that faces heaven and now back to the side that faces earth. The side of the moon towards heaven is named "Elysian plain," the hither side "House of counter-terrestrial Phersephonê."

It’ll never happen, the PF will prevent it
We’d sink into all that cream cheese and not be able to take off again
And thus spoil Wreaken Mining’s blueberry cheesecake franchise
I won’t say where the blueberries come from!
(But it’s Moon Rabbits!)

The poem The Ruines of Time was written by Edmund Spenser, to Mary Pembroke/Sidney. It's a strange eulogy to her dead brother Philip Sidney(Astrophel).
Most of the poem consists of a female Roman spirit (the genius of Verlame), complaining about the Roman empire in ruins. She also sneaks in a bit about the dead Sidney.
The last part of the poem does however describe Philip Sidney rising to the heavens and becoming a star sign.
The description of the starry locations begin at line 589 (it's a long poem ): https://www.bartleby.com/153/19.html
I identify the Swan (Sidney) as Cygnus, the Harp as Lyra and the armed knight and winged horse as Perseus and Pegasus, but I have trouble with the coffer made of heben (ebony) wood, the stately bed Adorned all with costly cloth of gold and the arke of purest golde. All suggestions are welcome.
I'm wondering if the symbolism of the Raxxla symbol may be related to six locations, surrounding Cygnus in the sky?
Was curious on the origin of the name ... but no one seems to know - the oldest reference I found was in "The Geography of the Heavens" by Burrittt 1833
But he didnt seem to know where it came from either... Looks like there was a quilt pattern called Job's Coffin possibly originating in String Figures (like Jacobs Ladder) The Romance of Quilt Names.... ya was bored.
"Now after some time I wished to go to the region
of Ausitis to visit the tomb of holy Job, for the
sake of prayer. For I used to see many holy monks
coming thence to Jerusalem to visit the holy places for
the sake of prayer, who, giving information of every-
thing concerning those places, increased my desire to
undertake the toil of going to them also, if indeed
that can be called toil by which a man sees his desire
to be fulfilled. So I set out from Jerusalem with the
holy men who deigned to give me their company
on my journey they themselves also going for the
sake of prayer making my journey from Jerusalem
through eight stations to Carneas. The city of Job
is now called Carneas, but it was formerly called
Dennaba, in the land of Ausitis, on the confines of
Idumea and Arabia. Travelling on this journey I
saw on the bank of the river Jordan a very beautiful
and pleasant valley abounding in vines and trees..."
"And as we journeyed day by day, on the left side, whence on the
opposite side we saw parts of Phoenicia, there suddenly
appeared a great and high mountain which extended
in length..."
[DATA REDACTED] "...which holy monk and ascetic, after so many
years spent in the desert, found it necessary to move
and to go down to the city of Carneas, in order to
advise the bishop and clergy of that time, according
as it had been revealed to him, that they should dig
in that place which had been shown to him ; which
was done. And they, digging in that place which had
been shown to him, found a cave, which they followed
for about a hundred paces, when suddenly, as they
dug, a stone tomb came to light, and when they had
uncovered it, they found carved on its lid (the name)
Job. To this Job the church which you see was then
built in that place, in such a manner that the stone
with the body should not be moved, but that it should
be placed, where the body had been found, and that
the body should He under the altar. That church,
which was built by some tribune, has been unfinished
to this day."

Still playing around with Kepler. He thought the Golden Ratio was a precious jewel... So i tried applying it to the Merope/Col70 alignment to see what I could see... gerr messed up ... recalcuatingggggggg

I'll be entering Keplers Crest in the next few days and doing 2 lengths (up to Xibalba then back down to the rift) so I'll be in the area for a good week or so. Any tinfoil you want checked whilst I'm there, let me know.

Almost. So near but yet so far! think I'm going to stay out for a while though and scratch that TDW itch by zigzag across the galaxy so I can sell them data from every single region. I'll regret it if I dont do it. The pain is I'll have to revisit a few rim regions as I was silly enough to sell some UC data at beagle points DW2 FC. Reckon I can do it in around a month though, if I put my foot down, and I've already been out for 4-5 months
I found a small distinction between the L, T and Y type dwarfs in how they are handled by ED.
In the galaxy map's 'STAR TYPES:' listing, L and T-type dwarfs will be listed in unscanned systems. Y-type dwarfs are not listed, unless they are the primary star or the system is scanned.
This may be a remnant of what was meant to become 'dark systems' and 'dark stars'?
