War in Colonia?

OK - my main account is in Colonia - and is a member of Loren's Reapers (the group who SPEAR came 22KLy to brand as gankers) - I play PvE, plenty for me to do here and some of the best surroundings an explorer could ask for.

I usually potter around doing missions in fragile ships (unless they are BH related, then my ships have teeth and resilience) and in the year or so I've been in Colonia have had a single gank attempt (unsuccesful) by a known ganker (not Phisto, LoL!) over that time - Colonia is that unsafe :)

Now, surprisingly, I have had an unarmed and unshielded (clean) ship blown up in my base system recently... Yet the attackers were not Colonia 'residents'...

If you'd like to be 'shown around' I'll also volunteer, although being associated with me, or any of my squadron could be 'interesting' in these times :)

Now the interesting part, selling it back to the station at the max price possible on a carrier. This results in negative inf for the station owner.

Even with an advantage of 5 to 1 in people it seems nothing is off limits to further their imperialistic goals of destroying Colonia. Free people of Colonia rise up or your home will never be the same. If they use these tactics against us they will use it against anybody who speaks up against their tyrannical ways. It's now or never.

The first part, ok, this IS lore and roleplay sub-forum. But calling me a terrorist on forum just because i dont play by your rules and I explicitly said so is insulting to me.Because i will never roleplay as terrorist and i dont like that.
Terrorists are guys who film beheadings in name of religion,political beliefs etc. I am not that, never been, never will.
So please, dont call me terrorist just because i play different way than you.
It is like me callling you ____(put any insulting word of your choice) just because you are playing with spear.
That shows your lack of respect for anyone with different opinions than yours, which is, as life teaches us, not righteous thing to do. Just check 20th century history.
I would stay out of your way, but you explicitly said that you will not respect my way and that i need to submit to your will, so you will not stay out of my way.
And i never said that i will attack you or any other cmdr, but if by attack you mean me not cooperating with your roleplay of cops, then yes, i will, because i don't care about your power trips, and i will not play your way.
So expect me not cooperating with you in the game.
And thats cool.
Bullying people, calling them terrorists for thinking differently and ascribing yourself imaginary great power over others, not cool.

There is no ganker problem in Colonia, SPEAR have come all the way here because someone said something they didn't like on a forum, neither they nor their allies despite repeated requests will explain the reasons for their action therefore we must assume they and their CIDE masters just like bullying smaller groups.

Can you even conceive of that, Tebori? What about your followers? Your allies? Can they think of a world where people do what's right without coercion? We all know the answer. Of course not. Why? Because the power of anarchy doesn't lie on the battlefield but in the mind.

Once a person understands their place in this world as an individual free to make their own way - whatever consequences that may entail - they undergo an incredible transformation. They become more confident, more self aware, less afraid, and more loving. They become themselves. You become something all the guns and all the ships in all the 'verse can't destroy. And even if it means your doom, it's one you chose for yourself.

Don't believe me? When I left Colonia (just to spite your pitiful personal grudge) you claimed Carcosa had been liberated from a dictator. Look at the vitality of the protest in this thread. I've hardly commented on it here or elsewhere over the past week. Hell, I'm not even the one driving it these days. Not much of a dictator, am I?

Do you know why? Because these people are free. And frankly, they're sick of your crap.

So, good luck doing whatever it is you think you're doing. When a tyrannt seeks to oppress a free people, he's already lost!
