3 screenshots to show what the planetary tech is able to do for steep mountains.
Disclaimer: I don't show them to claim "never done before", just show the actual state of the tech for this biome.

If one speculates about product launch and goes wrong, product hits the ground. Not the desired outcome.
If one speculates about deorbit burn and goes wrong, product hits the ground too, but in this case it is the desired outcome!
As a french dude, I haven't really understood the message you want to pass...

That last one looks a bit low poly, but the first two are lovely.

The background of the 3 pictures looks nice, but to me there is something odd with larger rocks when they are near to you. The first picture escapes it because the foreground just has a few scattered pebbles, but is very noticeable in the third. If you start looking at the second picture the rocks on the right hand side of the picture look a little odd to me and then the medium sized rocks in the foreground left have an odd profile or at least to my eyes.

Perfectly acceptable of course, but not stellar.

1 video to show how all the game systems combine on steep mountains.

I laughed out loud at the end of the first part... really that was hilarious, poor guy.
Shows how much fidelity there is in the physics engine yet: that ship looks like it weighs nothing and is blown away by the wind, and the physics grid is throwing a fit because the door is not perfectly aligned..

???
It's in the alpha...

The problem with lauding something in a pre-alpha as 'achieved' is that it can easily be dialled back by the time launch arrives. (As more features & content are added resources get stretched, or conflicts emerge, and removals or quality reduction compromises are far from unusual).

That said, we seem to have a pre-alpha vs pre-alpha face off going on. Which although that makes a certain sense, is ultimately equally silly ;)

A better time to laud or lambast achievements is probably when the game content is officially launched...
