Money dropping faster than a Cheetah

Okay I've installed the new update and DLC and now my Franchise zoo is taking a massive hit for some reason. My money dropped from 250k to currently 75k within 10 minutes of me playing and trying to fix whatever problems their may be. I've upped the price of tickets (since the guests were moaning about them being cheap), I've added food and drink stalls.....After I changed the ticket prices and enabled more than 2000 guests my money went back up a few thousand and then started dropping again in huge chunks after 2 mins. Here's a pic below showing my guests needs.

I only have two in the red and most things are around 75% which is pretty good and I've been able to live off this (so to speak) for some time now. I even have 5 stars! But suddenly this new update was just like "nah mate not anymore". 😕

Which month of the year were you in when taking the screenshot? So one can relate if the animal food is exceptionally high.

And did you put up enough donation boxes?

Been paused on February while I'm on here. I've got loooooaddsss of donation boxes. One of the reasons why I was able to do so well until now.

I was looking at my animal costs and my 16 Lions are costing me a wopping 117k (which I think is in one year). Their monthly food also cost's 36k! faints.
All my animals food are at grade 1 too!

Okay, by that estimation I would say the animal food costs are too high.
Did you check in the new Food-Menue-Point the Total Cost per year?
Do you have a lot of predators in your zoo? They costs lots of money foodwise.

I think the balance of donations and animal food is not good. Could be that people are not donating enough. In my estimation they only donated half the money than the years before in those two month.

The more the animals are researched, have better food quality and their needs are met as much as possibly can, the more the guests are donating. So maybe you should up the quality and maybe reduce the amount of lions. 16 is a really big number :D

I have 3 predators, Lions, Snow Leopard and Crocodile. The Leopards and Crocodiles only cost just over 1k a month. All my animals are maxed out on research and I'm currently doing advanced research on my lions. If the food is making me lose so much money I don't really wanna change the grade. 🤣
Also I wanted to have a big pride since they could have upto 30 Lions. 😭

Okay, thats acutally not so much predatores
And I can understand your thinking of rising the grade. But maybe you should try it with the "lower cost" animals and hope that donations go up a bit.
In case of the lions: I would suggest to take out a few, so you may have 1 male und 2 or 3 females and try to balance your money in that way. Then gradually add the other lions again, but not all at once and keep your eyes on your money :)

Okay...."Sigh"....😔Guess I gotta say goodbye to a few. 😭 If you see any from Dreamer Land in the next few mins they're mine. 😭

To me, as Siska pointed out, it looks like the Animal Food is too high, this was an issue/bug upon game launch, or right after?

Is your trade center full? Because you could simply leave them there...
No but I figured I'd get rid of some anyway. I've got a pretty good bloodline going (genetics and appeal wise) and I usually get rid of a few now and again to keep things fresh so everyone isn't related. 😁

It was a bug after launch and during the beta but I'm pretty sure it keeps coming back now and again with certain updates.
