Problem is when you do that you don't only limit the numbers of visible guests but everything to do with guests, meaning you get less income as well and you can't do that when you play outside of sandbox. For this to acutally work in all modes we'd need an option that only limits the number of rendered guests and not the actual guest number, so the CPU has less pathfinding and stuff to calculate while we still get the profits...though, with all the other game mechanics in place I'm not even sure that's an option. Either way it seems the number of generated guests in proportion to the number of animals in the zoo is way to high for what the engine can currently handle and we're stuck with it because our zoo's profit is linked to that number as well.
Although this is extremely realistic, at least in a game where we want to relax, we shouldn't be punished like in RL.Plus, one was broken and I sent my mechanic, but no matter how many times it got fixed, it stayed broken.
If you'd like to post in the Suggestions forum you're more than welcome if there isn't an existing thread on the topic.I keep asking devs please add a No Damage / Never Break option in sandbox mode. Vending machines are fun but in my sandbox I dont want them breaking down all the time. Now is a much needed time for that option. And again a No Litter option would also be welcome just like a No pickpocket option. 3 Options that would make sandbox better.
I have alreaey done so months ago,but that is not why i posted it here. The no damage / no breakdown option is now really needed more then ever because of the new vendingmachines breaking down constantly which takes out the fun of playing in a sandbox and since this update added vending machines which have more breakdowns its really needed and thought i asked here since it goes with the topic of the patchIf you'd like to post in the Suggestions forum you're more than welcome if there isn't an existing thread on the topic.
We'll need to keep this on topic of the new DLC.
Haha, so true with some vending machines.Although this is extremely realistic, at least in a game where we want to relax, we shouldn't be punished like in RL.

I have never used it myself, but isn't there a "disable vandalism" option in sandbox? Or does it only disable certain objects from being destroyed?
Doesnt stop machines breaking down, also doesnt stop pickpocketingI have never used it myself, but isn't there a "disable vandalism" option in sandbox? Or does it only disable certain objects from being destroyed?
Would you stop with the negativity? I know there are some bugs with the last update, but buying a video game doesn't give you control over the devs and what they do. Most other developers care WAY less about their communities, but Frontier listens to us, and usually is great about fixing bugs.It is already reported. Please read your Issue Tracker.
Unbelieveable we pay for that and really have to wait another uncertain time instead of just pretesting your own products before sell them.
whats the matter with his feedback? we have put money into it, we are their customers so of course we can give feedback, thats why this forum is here!Would you stop with the negativity? When you react in this way to my comment I don't want to read from you when there is really negative critics. I've played Planet Coaster, JWE and now Planet Zoo and I didn't made the experience you report. Instead, Frontier ignores a lot of really constructive critics and messes up with every update. I'm sorry for you that I expect nearly one year after release a fixed game. Those gamebreaking bugs make the game unplayable and I really never experienced such a bad bug fixing like in this case. Bugs are normal, of course. But that they really mess up things which were working like workzones, the building grid, water grid, not leaving protestors and many else is unbelieveable, at least for me. Sorry to offense you with my opinion. And, by the way, there're many companies which care a lot more for there customers. Even some with just small stuff.Would you stop with the negativity? Koalas are the next animals I'm putting in my game. I should have a mated pair in there tonight.Back to some more positivity:
I LOVE THESE CUTE KOALAS!!!
Made my first habitat with them now. Havent seen an animal in PZ yet that id climbing as much as these cuties. Sometimes im switching into the heatmap just to find them in the habitat. And then some of them are high up in the trees. Thats so awesome.
Theres a little pond in that exhibit: and all the time they are swimming in it. Just great.
