Oh, for sure. Given FD's history its practically guaranteed to be a bugfest, at least for the first month or two.

The good thing about FD though is they at least fix the worst bugs and don't report that we will have to wait another year or two before they invent a new magic tech that's never been done before so they can make it playable :p

Even if there is a long beta - if it goes like most ED patches it will just go live with all the bugs anyway. They did say they had FPS people added to the team, so lets hope they were good ones - if everyone starts falling through the floor and getting stuck in elevators... :ROFLMAO:

I fired up Elite today...first time in quite a while. Couldn't remember how any of it worked. Even the usually unflappable ASTRA from the HCS voicepacks was like, "Wut?...You been playing Star Citizen or something?"

I was pathetically grateful when I managed to get my Krait 2 off the hangar floor and make it out of the station unexploded by angry ATC...managed to turn about and land too, even if I was sweating a bit :D

Now I just have to remaster the rest of it...DSS mode, switching HUD modes...how to actually jump to another system... :oops:

Two hud modes still annoy me.

🤷‍♂️ No really need for drama. Your data was simply cherry picked to confirm a bias and therefore the argument was not really that accurate. The full data set offered helps clarify a bit better.

It's been so long since I had another system to jump to I've forgotten how it all works. All I'm doing is confusing voice attack by using Star Citizen voice commands...since HCS includes an SC profile as well as the Elite one :D

I can see it'll be a pure comedy of errors as I get back into it....I'm just glad I'm not a fuel rat any longer, that would have been embarrassing. :whistle:

true, i remember when fdev first talked about fleet carriers in 2017, how they were going to be released in 3.3, and would finally give some end game content for large player groups. wondering if the 500 player group i was a part of would be able to support 2 fleet carriers with one squadron. Or if we would have to create a 2nd squadron.

oh, and the reworked ice planets. they were just months away as well!

I have an advanced autodock computer and supercruise assist in my T7 ( pride be damned) because at my age eyes, fingers and concentration tend to tire fast.

You are part of a rationnal community ? And it give you the power to say what is rationnal and irrational ?
