has anyone with a reverb scored a new 3080? what are your frames like compared to say a 2080ti?
It is just sometimes CPU bound for me, but it will depend on settings. Im measuring CPU and GPU frametimes with fpsvr, so not sure how accurate it is. ED doesnt scale well with multiple cores, so 4 cores are fine.I really doubt you're CPU limited with a 2080ti and a Reverb. I didn't notice any change of FPS going from a 5 year old i7 4-core to new i9-10 core with Elite.
The general opinon has always been that ED scales really well with cores/threads, and that VR needs more threads than 2D, consensus till now has been 6+.It is just sometimes CPU bound for me, but it will depend on settings. If it hasn't changed ED can only use 3 game controller devices at a time, are both Reverb controllers on?My HOTAS 4 works perfectly in the normal game but when I go to HP reverb VR the hat and fire triggers won't work so I can't select the game in the main menus. Anyone have any suggestions please? I uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them but it made no difference.

Might be worth trying to rebind the controls while in VR, even if it's just to test that the hats/triggers can be seen?
Finally, HMD's have a significant USB power draw and I used to have some issues with the HOTAS/HMD not getting enough power until I put the HOTAS through a powered USB hub.
Also disable USB power saving in SteamVR.
Hope that's helpful.
I have never used the reverb controllers.
I can't do anything in vr
I have the hotas on a USB 3 port, I'll order a powered just in case.
I'll disable USB power saving now.
Many thanks for the advice. I'll let you know what works or not.
It's under Developer \ Developer Settings, not the main Settings.I can't see an option to disable USB power saving in steam vr settings. This is all I get in this screenshot.

You should be able to use the mouse/kb to navigate the ED menus to check if the hotas is being recognised under a new custom bindings.
Mouse and kb should work by default, if they don't make sure ED's own mirror view window is selected, not the WMR (or SteamVR one.)
Glad you've got it sorted Solyom. Just so you know I don't have to maximise the ED window to get my hotas to be seen, I just make sure it's the focus on the desktop.
I touch type and try to do as much in game as I can so can't help with the rest.
