LGBTQ+ Flags as ship paint jobs?

With all the country flag ship skins, it would be really cool if Frontier made some LGBTQ+ pride flag ship skins. For example, I'd buy with real money a skin of the pansexual flag, or the non-binary flag. If you do do this, make sure to use the more orange lesbian flag, the pink one has some issues. Even just a rainbow or progress flag livery would be great

Really? I think that's the ugliest flag I've ever seen. It looks like printer test, not a flag.
Mind you, that's my opinion about the flag, nothing else.

As for the flag in game - I wouldn't want it either. I'm also not a big fan of national flags in game.
I just believe RL should be left in RL, especially politics, religion and things of that sort.

Just by seeing the flag some people think they could catch it, although that's not how it works, also people dont understand what it represents and why its needed as they have never led a life of discrimination. Having this kind of thing in games is progression, LGBTQ+ characters & flags / icons in game are also not a new thing.

It would be great if Frontier would support this and show they are an inclusive developer.

I'm not LGBTQ+ I'm a straight white male, does my life matter ?, and if so how do I get a flag for the millions of non LGBTQ+ people whose lives matter as well.

By flying rainbow flags and icons, the world is not saying that other lives don’t matter, However, it is bringing attention to the way that LGBTQ+ people across the world are denied certain human rights by virtue of being LGBTQ+

In other words, saying “All Lives Matter” ignores the discrimination experienced by LGBTQ+ people across the globe. i.e your response is the exact reason these icons are required.

For the CMDRs who didn't know, they already have Thargoid Ally decals in the store. We also have slf pilots who are gay, if you read their bios. Some of the female pilots bios I've read mentioned a wife back home.

I see no issue with putting LGBTQ+ flags/decals in the store. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

I'm sure people who don't support the Empire/Federation don't bother with their decals.

More choice is better, and I fail to see how some agenda is being forced on people over a choice to buy a decal or paint scheme.

A developer doesn't need to add flags and symbols of non-game related causes to be inclusive. The policies of a company makes it inclusive.

Do you wave the WWF flag to show your inclusivity for nature? If not then go do that first.

It makes no sense lore-wise. In the year 3300 this would be a non-issue. What would be controversial is maybe marrying an android or alien.

The presence of modern national flags and other symbolism on in-game paint jobs has already rendered any pretense of segregating real-world socio/geopolitics false.

I see utterly no difference between allowing a Union Jack and allowing a Pride flag, nor do I have any particular objections toward people plastering their ships with subjectively garish colors.

I wouldn't mind if Frontier decided to remove all real-world references, outside of the inevitable historical lore, but since they are probably not inclined to issue refunds to all those people whose CMDRs have 1300 year old flags on their ships, inclusivity/flagflation seems like the more straightforward of the two options. Of course, the lowest effort option is to do nothing at all, and I always assume this is the path Frontier will take.
