Exactly! o_O:rolleyes::poop:

Yeah, so "debunked" that someone here claim that CDPR started the development of Cyberpunk in 2016.
That would be CDPR who quite publicly claimed that.
Kind of like how CRobber said they started in 2010…

Comparing public statement to public statement is about as same standard as it gets — it doesn't become double just because it doesn't match your wishes and preferences. You know what would be something of a double standard, though? Comparing a game where the main designer can't decide on when the projected started (he has said 2010, 2011, and even suggested 1997 if you want to be really inclusive in what counts) and who can't even begin to give you an end date, with a game with a pretty clear development start and end date, and then trying to say that those are pretty much the same…

Double standards.
Ok, you nailed it on this one but balayons ça d'un revers de main comme vous savez le faire chez les shillizens: in few weeks CP2077 will be out and SC/SQ42 still years away from any form of completion.

Well, until I get something good out of Star Citizen (the awesome game I backed back in 2014, 100s of star systems, real scale, coop singleplayer campaign called SQ-42 that allows you to continue then in a persistent universe, VR support), I have to take the fun people make of it as my entertainment value.

If you pledge $1000 right now, i'll send you a JPG of the thread and a promise to expand the scope of the thread further while not increasing the expected delivery time of posts.

Wikipedia is wrong. Production started at least in 2012.

When we released the teaser trailer, Cyberpunk 2077 was already in production. We were working on different concepts, establishing the direction we wanted to take, all the elements that allowed us to start the development. But as I told you earlier, we've been entirely dedicated to the game since 2014.

So, which one lie and moan like a little girl now ? Don't call me a liar please, ask for source if you don't believe me.

8 years with no game delivered for CIG = bad
8 years with no game delivered for CDPR = good
In french we say "deux poids deux mesures" (double standards).

And (as StuartGT teaches me), CPDR started with 50 dev and a full working society/tools where CIG started with 13 employees (not all dev) in 2012 with wrong tools.

Well, at least out this discussion we got you to accept that CIG started development in 2012 (or 2011 if you believe CR) and not some random date selected to fit with your world view.

Will you award me the title of Emperor of Catkind if I pledge for over $9000?

Star Citizen was released 5 years ago!

ah, summer of 2013, glorious days of hype over the new generation of game consoles.
Like today, but previous generation.
SC is already that old... Who would possibly had thought that it will meet next generation while still being alpha? I wonder if it will keep being alpha long enough to see Playstation 6.

Meanwhile in ED one can do this. I can't post the picture or describe it content right here, it's against forum rules, but if you follow the link to the reddit and zoom in, you will see the greatest pikk in the universe.
