Frontier: give the FSD to ALL players, regardless of whether they took part or not

It needs to be accepted as a problem first. As it stands most people seem to enjoy exclusive modules, otherwise people wouldn't be angry about them being slightly less exclusive...

And no one stops people from participating in CGs either.

Only the one who got them can enjoy them.

And apparently no one can participate in that CG and obtain them now - since it is gone for good.

Yes, I believe that's the point of exclusive modules.

By the way, I don't think it's a good idea either. I just don't care enough to pick a side.

Gotta love the hypocrisy on this forum.

Frontier changes reward bracket from top 25% to top 75%: "Why are you complaining you egoistical meany! Giving it to more people is a good thing and doesn't harm you!!!"

OP makes this thread: "Lol yeah, sure. Why not add a free Anaconda as well!?! You gotta earn your stuff!!"

Ok, my story. I've heard of this CG in Sunday. Made 1 loop with 720t of cargo and realized I will never be in top 25% with such rate. I gave up and ended in 75% (minimum was 625t, so I barely managed to get in).
And today I found they gave me this new FSD.
My Phantom had 70ly jump range. After installation of new FSD it become 73.5ly. Then I get it hasn't experimental effect installed, and took myself to Elvira and added it. Now my shiny Phantom has 76ly jump range. Almost hit Exploconda build.
I'm happy, but I know some of you will blame me of my luck. I see this was unfair decigion somethere. I agree, this new FSD should be available to everyone. Because this thing is brilliant. Gosh, I'm so happy with it.
Nothing wrong with playing by the rules and profiting. I would hope no one blames the players for this (even tho sadly some are) game design falls squarely on FDs shoulders imo. Enjoy your part . I disagree with it and think it harms the game (regardless of percentages) but had I of known about it and had my VR headset set up damn right I would have done my best to get it[/QUOTE]

I do not care either. I've made a choice to not participate as few ly jump range increase are not so much for what I am doing.
But I am strongly against the use of FOMO and gambling in games supported by timely locked exclusive rewards that give some advantage.

As Mad Mike suggested earlier, paintjobs and decals would be better. Or free Arx (yes, my new mobile doesn't autocorrect Arx to Sex anymore), or free Materials, or Guardian Modules, etc.

So why people who got the module are offended by the idea that frontier change the terms again ?
For example: "All players can buy one 5A FSD with double engineering at a standard price at station X"

Maybe these comments aren't written by the same person?

Actually that would not be a bad way of doing it... Top (what ever percent) get the module, everyone else has to earn it like any other module but the BLUEPRINT would be added to the engineering menu for everyone to earn.
