Are all your income balancing need satisfied until Odysee?

This is why I have my FC set up to buy Tritium at 100,000 CR per unit in 1000 unit purchase orders.

I've got just short of 4 Billion in my FC bank and I'm far too lazy to refuel it myself half the time so it's a win-win situation as far as I'm concerned.
My FC gets refueled regularly and some Traders make a nice little profit.
I've had to reset my purchase order twice already this week and the money I've made from pew pew activities has topped my FC balance right back up again 🤷‍♂️ can't even throw credits away now it seems 🤣
That is some nice insight. It shows that player transaction with some friction would be a long term drain.

Credits are all over the place.. Honestly it is a non-issue for most of the game. Where it becomes a real problem is that it pretty much makes many game features irrelevant.
Adjust the prices so the following things are relevant again:

a) Repair of ships
b) Re-arming with ammo
c) Bigger difference between the most expensive ships in the game and the cheapest ones
d) Bigger rebuys for more expensive ships

A rough estimate would be to slash income by 50% and increase prices by 50% across the board.

I fly only three ships , Asp , FDL & Cutter.

I'm not sure allowing people to skip straight to end game ships encourages ARX sales. So many rush to their n00bconda and only realise the DBX is actually the best ship in the game much later 🤔 Even I bypassed it and headed for an AspX the first time - sad times :(

Hi there, I'm a relatively new player. I have 374 hours played, and a "noobconda" and I'll probably have a mining/trading Cutter soon. Maybe a 'Vette, haven't' decided but I digress...

We just had a 24 page thread where others made comments like this, and whenever I pushed back, I got accused of being the bad-faith debater. "Noobconda" is insulting and condescending, it just is. If you don't get why so many people find the Anaconda so compelling, well, fly what you like and all. But I assure you, it is VERY compelling to people.

There is no "end game" as far as I can tell. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with me getting an Anaconda because it's the ship I wanted. So I worked at getting it. If you deny that from others, the game will be made less enjoyable all to satisfy others sense of how progression "should" be or whatever. So what's the point?

I would argue that the DBX is not the best ship in the game, that for my money, the Krait Phantom is clearly superior but that's neither here or there I guess. I can't speak for others but I will be purchasing Odyssey and I've already purchased some Arx, and if this was a game where it took me 500 or a thousand hours to get an Anaconda then I would be purchasing zilch from this company. That's not a threat, it's just the reality. If I wanted a grind, there are WAY better games out there for grinding.

As I said. n00bconda. Don't worry, many recover from this affliction and live a long and meaningful life.

They said they'd continue rebalancing after the new year but we haven't had any news about pt. 4 rebalancing yet.

I'm definitely very grateful for the work so far - I am doing a lot of stuff that I wouldn't even have considered before.

However, leaving the rebalancing at such an incomplete state will keep folks out of many activities and side-objectives.

And ultimately the costs will need rebalancing aswell - a lot of them have become irrelevant.

Nerfing and taking things away from players is not the right thing to keep player base happy.

That's plainly obvious but that's assuming that is the primary motivator for their posts. Which sadly I no longer believe it is.

I see a bunch of vets who happily farmed LTD's 'till their eyes bled for all their ships and fleet carriers, and now that they want for nothing, the rest of us need to be made to suffer and toil in the fields. NOW the economy needs a 'fixin!

Pages and pages and PAGES of angst and debate and vitriol over digital space credits that cannot possibly affect other players. I simply do not understand...

Me neither. But every time you mention anything similar here you are being accused of being salty and entitled... I see SOME of those - so called vets - salty and entitled; you know, they game should be what they want, run as they want and everyone who dares think otherwise is an abomination... Look at the post even in this thread. How many of users call for further nerfs/"balancing"...

Quite the reflection on humanity isn't it? One coming here to read the posts, you would think the biggest problem in this game is that people can actually get what they want and HAVE FUN.

Factually wrong. There have been more buffs than nerfs in these rebalances.
Maybe, however if that was true my usual game play would bring me more income than before nerfs. As it is for today it does not. I have to change my play style in order to get similar level of income... I am not a combat pilot so buffs to combat do not concern me. I am mainly explorer and trader and as far as I can see trading - that by the way not supposed to be a part of "balancing" - got a substantial hit by accident. So for me, game was nerfed again, I simply do not see any buffs...

Massive clean cut nerf to existing assets by buffing up environment and engineered stuff far outwighs any meagre buff done ever after. You see, taking gameplay away by making it basically unplayable is a thing you simply can't top anymore. Imagine people even paid for that. It's a bit crazy.
