In the Galnet article: "I have no idea if Serene Harbour is a starport, a settlement or even a megaship, but this is obviously a mayday signal." But we do know now, don't we?
Indeed!
Perhaps?

It's a braking burn...The not buying Odyssey twice is a valid point... At least until it becomes a cheap deal like a £5 offer.
I'll upgrade one account after the first month or two (there is bound to be some serious game braking bugs!). Then the other once it's on sale.
At this point, with the few leads we have :
3. Crashed conda on 6 A has a goid sensor, seems to be somewhat corroded1. NLMA has/had an advanced workshop hidden on LTT 1935
2. Boss there was working with corosive stuff, likely for the bombs
4. (tinfoil hat) Conda was pointed towards Lavrador base, 1.4Mm away
I'll call sus onWith the feds having won the concerned CG, there was no muscled search from the imperials, and feds have no reason to suspect or search their own.lavrador base.
I call on you other commanders who aren't as law abiding as I am, to get some muscled research done on site.
I mean, as far as I know it's not like we got anything better than do, other than wait for Cannon Research to do some more of the work for us.
My main account is covered by the LEP so that's okay. I'm going to buy it on my first alt on day 1 too. After that, I will get them on my other alts as they go on sale. The not buying Odyssey twice is a valid point... At least until it becomes a cheap deal like a £5 offer.

I bet it can be done solo as well, for someone who's fast and skilled, and who knows what to do.Lavrador Base is heavily defended. Just landed my ship beyond the trespass zone and used the SRV to get closer.
Only seems to be a small trespass zone that you cannot get to via the SRV.
I did come across a data point and scanned it, all hell broke loose, defense turrets and skimmers handed me my rear end.
Think we need a few ships to take out the turrets and then investigate it.
If you see human signal outside Serene Harbor look up its a HIGH ENERGY WAKE, you have to scan it so take a Wake scanner. If you miss it, there will be no other chance, no more there.
it is moving as fast as the planet rotates.
The wake is from the shuttle they spoke of.
I did have a ship (Keelback) drop in near me (when i was at the Crashed Anaconda), fly about a bit then High-Wake out. I would have followed if I had a wake scanner... It did this 3 times! Is there really a wake above the prison compund? Has anyone scanned it to see what system it leads to?
Or it could be reffering to the 'nine martyrs' held at Kepler Orbital...The log on 24/01 has a reference that one of the theta group (theta two) who was saying during torturing to remember the nine martyrs. Maybe they were referring to the
Nine martyrs of Cyzicus from orthordox religion https://orthodoxwiki.org/Nine_Martyrs_of_Cyzicus
" In turn, they were arrested and brought to trial. After the ruler of the city condemned them, they were tortured over several days, then locked in prison before again being brought to the judge again before whom they were promised their freedom if they renounced Christ. But, as soldiers for Christ they continued to glorify the Lord. Through the years from 286 to 299 all nine martyrs were beheaded by the sword, and their bodies buried near the city. "
Or maybe the Martyrs of Turon (The martyrs of astoria) from catholic religion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martyrs_of_Turon
But what significance if any would this have in the game?
It'd make alot more sense referencing something in-game!19 NOV 3306
Liz Ryder Wiki Page
- Pilots Federation ALERT
Multiple explosions have struck Kepler Orbital in the Atropos system, causing huge damage and loss of life.
Witnesses have observed signs of corrosion damage to the starport. This is characteristic of an explosive designed by the engineer Liz Ryder that deploys Thargoid caustic enzymes, and which was used in the bombings of Imperial starports in September. The NMLA has claimed responsibility for the attack. Its propaganda channels praised "the nine martyrs", a reference to the terrorist suspects recently arrested by the Federal Security Service. There were also warnings of "further reprisals if the Federation impedes our cause". The FSS has since confirmed that the captive NMLA members were being held in secure facilities at Kepler Orbital, which have been completely destroyed by the blasts. It is assumed that they were specifically targeted to prevent the prisoners revealing information about the paramilitary group under interrogation. Federal authorities are urgently requesting support from the galactic community, to assist with repair efforts and to rescue survivors still trapped at the damaged station.[2]
The scenario and the facility layout is very much like a classic team assault/defend map.
I can go have a look... I was planning on heading back out that way to see if there was anything I missedFuture pvp matches there soon!
Also, i dont know where, but someone mentioned that the data tower was making interesting noises. Has someone recorded and encrypted them?
While you are there, try sticking your nose/getting as close to any other things that look like they might broadcast. And check the surrounding area up to 3km.I can go have a look... I was planning on heading back out that way to see if there was anything I missed

Still worth looking to see if anything else is broadcasting. Remember that while the science puzzles are very simple (shoot or scan), the sound stuff is like no other game has ever had ever in the entire history of ever. That was me mentioning it here in this thread, but later I found out data towers at other settlements make exactly the same noises, so nothing special there actually.
I got something but didn't get to see it as my SRV got blew to bits lolP.P.S. Did you get anything from the scan there ?
Did you try bringing the Thargoid sensor there?Well, unless I missed something out there, the Lavrador base isn't hiding anything. Scanned all I could scan, shot at stuff, and nothing at all came up.
Gonna put my tinfoil hat back into the hangar and wait for someone else to find some hints, still convinced it isn't over yet.
