Whats certain is that the last year havent brought the project any closer to completion due to lack of core tech andvarious blockers still in effect. Development hell indeed.

They had to build an orcherstra first, but even if they had 40 women backers pregnant they surprisingly did not all gave birth each month. Now the future musicians just are entering 6th grade for the oldest, and most happen to suck at playing an instrument. But fret not: they'll play like noone has played before once the bagpipes are in and properly anointed!
I am sure backers will get everything they pledged for, including a full orchestral score, recorded on a purpose built anti-theatre made just for SC on the face of a cliff on an island overlooking the mediterranean sea. And it won't take 10 years either.
It is disappointing, and one of the challenges with modern day internet discourse, that there is so much cynicism. CIG do things because they are hard, not because they are easy. And because of the coffers made of pure gold, distilled from SC backer's dreams and wishes, that Chris Roberts is squirreling away in his Hollywood mansion.

Depends on your level on cynicism, but I presume the difference between "not implemented" and "stagnant" is that that has been some news about it at some point, and radio silence since.
As in 2 to 3 years otherwise it will become stale.
