And @Tyres O'Flaherty this might have all the appeal of a slap in the face with a wet kipper, but given there seem to be several in here who have never joined a squadron but who enjoy experiencing lots of varied gameplay, have you thought of starting a thread squadron??? With at least ten members you can have an in-game NPC faction, could have a home base and get into BGS etc. Might have no appeal, but it strikes me that there are enough of us in here. Just a casual thought in passing, to make of what you will. No idea if the squadron side of the game holds any appeal to any of you.

Um... what is a "thread squadron"? Sorry if this sounds dense...

I do have a private group already set up that some have joined although none of us appear to have teamed up on it yet. Is this the same thing?

They have, it doesn’t happen almost all the time now, now without the yellow adder it happened to me a couple of weeks ago but it is years back to the time it happened before that.
Before they fixed it happened several times a week if not more depending on system type.

That's weird because I got a Yellow Adder while I was jumping to this system the first time. Logged out and in again, had to rescan a WW and then this happened.

OK, here's the video!
I totally made up the 'taking damage' comm voice earlier, it was in my head.

Appears I didn’t actually bother saving enough poor souls at Hahn Gateway, as I’ve only crept up a couple of ranks to Lieutenant in the Federation.

And hats off to Simon - Elite combat is mighty. Have finally crept over the threshold to Competent this evening (while blowing up an an Elite Ananaconda which went pop bizarrely easily). Might go visit Broo and see if he can help speed me through Quite Competent, on whatever the next one is.

To see videos in posts on the forum you have to accept marketing cookies IIRC, I can see them in the forums on my PC but not when using my tablet as I haven’t reset the cookies here.

Log out of forum. Sign out. Then log back in. At the bottom of the screen it will have the rookie request, just like every damn annoying website these days. Click Accept All Cookies And Please Collect My Bank Details And kidneys When I Die' option. It should work.
