How would y'all feel about cobra Mk.IV for PS Odyssey pre-orders?

The whole idea of a ship as a pre-order bonus was garbage from the very beginning, and I'm sure they kept it a meh ship during design so people didn't start wailing about pay2win business models, which is fair. But the fact that it's still segmented and fairly useless after all this time is quite ludicrous

Let me start by saying that I have no oar in that boat, I'm a PC gamer, with cobra Mk.IV access, and I have no intention of moving to PS4/5, so it's not that I'm trying to envigo my way into Cobra Mk.IV access by creating a loophole through which I'd benefit. It's just that on PC we got the Cobra Mk.IV access as a reward for preordering horizons, on XB1 tehy got Cobra Mk.IV access for preordering the game, actually ordering it within a window after the launch date on that platform, yet Playstation CMDR's have NEVER been able to get a Cobra Mk.IV. While the Cobra Mk.IV isn't the gosh darned bestest ship in t'entire galaxy, infact it's a few "kylies" (thousands of lightyears) from it IMHO, it's NOT FAIR that an entire platform hasn't been able to access it. So, that brings me to the question, who would y'all feel if the Cobra Mk.IV was made available as an Odyssey pre-order reward, possibly alongside the pioneer suit skin, for PS CMDR's? I'd be cool with it, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this as an idea?

the cobra 4 needs to remain exclusive. this forum depends on it.

the oddyssey launch will be a huge salt mine but that will be temporary, in no time people will be back to flapping their ears and buying arx like zombies. we need to preserve long term reliable sources of salt for the sustainable future this forum, it is our only habitable forum still protected from social media radiation and decay. let's hope it lasts at least another decade, so stop making irresponsible suggestions.

The MK4 is really nothing to write home about. I can't think of a single instance where I said: Hmm... this situation would be perfect to fly that MK4 that only a selected few have access to. It would excel so much more than a Cutter, FDL, Vette, Conda, AspX or DBX! Said no one ever!

I have mine kitted out for the Robigo run with first class passenger cabins - it's name is 'Entitlement Express'

It doesn't make megabucks but it's the classiest small ship for passengers

It does not matter how you ask the question or whether folks here agree with you, the answer is NO and will always be NO.

When Fdev gives everyone LEP, then you can have the Cobra IV too. But until then, the answer will be NO.

Instead of rehashing this issue on the forum over and over and over again, direct your request directly to Frontier.

They will be the only one to make this decision, not those on this forum.

How many would be bothered if Fdev allowed anyone to buy the CobraIV now?
How many would be bothered if they opened it up short term just for the PS players that never had a shot at it?
How many would be bothered if they made access a CG reward or a tech broker unlock?

All I am really seeing is "free the CobraIV" and other players saying either, "Why would anyone even want it in the first place.", or "Fdev will never do it shut up about it already." I am not really seeing many say anything along the lines of "No you plebe, CobraIV is for us Horizons purchase window players only."

Lastly, would anyone be mad if Fdev put out a CobraV, and made it identical to the IV except maybe swapping around some optionals to make it seem different?

Yes, as an alpha backer and LEP+Cobra IV owner. I agree that it should be sold on the markets...

But only for a MILLION credits, BUAHAHAHAHAAA

I don´t know why I had to get every car in the GTAV once some modder gave me all the money through some hack or a mod (not my fault at all, did not get a ban or lose it, or break rules), but I just had to get those all...

The thing is this doesn't bother collectors - they are so easy to abuse by companies and they don't see, that they make themselves vulnerable because of this habit.

I have access, and am unimpressed with it, so I don't know why either.
However, a CobraIV is in no way analogous to an Enzo, and I certainly don't care at all if someone else buys one.
