I think I will give the Proboscis Monkeys Access to a River in my Park on Borneo. I want to see them swim

I've heard of those, and for a long time I didn't want to go the beach (although I found out later they're not in my area at all). I'm more terrified of what's under the water than anything on land for 2 reasons:
1. River Monsters - some of it's likely exaggerated, but it still makes you think
2. Humans are just so defenseless in the water. Even a small Shark can seriously hurt us

Assuming the Capuchin is going to be the smallest, any other species we may get? Primates, I mean. I'm hoping for some more New World species, but I can't think of any at the moment

I don't have any phobias really but IMO not going in the water is just common sense. There's a lot in there that can kill us, from sharks to jellyfish to conch snails, even seaweed can tangle you up and hold you under. Hell, moving away from living things, riptides are super dangerous, and in rivers you can get underwater quicksand of a sort (I think it's just mud, but a lot of mud has suction underwater).
If I'm being perfectly honest, the original model looks a lot like a tanuki. If you just recolor it and remove the extra ears, you've got a tanuki. This is obviously just my personal bias coming out, but I really do think this might be the best possible compromise for both people who want a realistic model and people who fell in love with the original goofy thing.Dear Chante, sorry about pinging you for this, but really wanted to tell you something.
I understand and respect all the feedback about the binturong, about it not resembling the real animal and all, but wanted to say that it is absolutely adorable and cute in its own way. Even though I'm someone who is all for realism, in this particular case I am feeling really sad this version of the model will be gone forever
From what I've seen on Twitter, Youtube and elsewhere, like me, there has been many other people who fell in love with it at first sight, because it is the cutest, fuzziest, cuddliest lil thing,so I was thinking about a solution that could please everyone. Perhaps we could get a cheat code similar to the ones we have right now, where you rename an animal or guest and the models transform. Could we get this kind of a workaround for the original model? It would be very sad for it to disappear forever.

I agree they’re kinda stuck. I actually do like the cheat code though. Let’s people pick the binturang they want.
They need to trim the fat off the binturong and reshape the head. Atm, the head is flat and squashed whereas it should be more pointed, and diamond shaped. I feel like the eyes should also be 'cloudier'. Unless you get really close to one you won't be able to see its pupils the way you can in game. It's really the face that's bothering me right now and I think the eyes are a big part to blame.
I hope we get an update tomorrow on what they plan to do with it. I imagine if they decide to give it the sonic treatment, then it'll be released as is on Tuesday and probably have its model updated at a later date. But if they actually manage to give it a makeover before release I'll be very impressed.

Okay, I had to translate Tanuki into my language first (what a difference!) but yes, pro Tanukis and the Bintu-Wrong could indeed easily be recycled for that with some minor changes.
The original bintuwrong was cute enough and agree it would make a good tanuki. I do wonder if they have anything in store for us for tomorrow. I know what I'd like for it to be, but honestly I don't see it happening, so it'll be either nothing or maybe a focus on the new enrichment items.
