Update 1.5.1 Out Now! Edit: Patch 1.5.2 Out Now!

i guess the eyeshadows of the binturong where more important than a working game.

This isn’t fair. The binturong took up one weekend, most likely from one of the artists. Clearly something (I’m guessing the water changes) had a big impact on the code. With the sheer number of systems out there, some issues were almost guaranteed. It’s felt worse than the others but that may just be recentcy bias on my part. This is a small team struggling to respond to community requests and, of late, they have done brilliantly at that. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt that there is more going on than we realize.

its not frontier, its people in the forum that distract from the important stuff by screming loud about makeup-tipps. then there is no time to fix the real problems.

Planet Zoo isn't developed by a single person. I doubt the modeler who touched up the binturong was also responsible for the game's coding, and many of these issues were likely unknown to Frontier before the update was pushed out.

I think it's also pretty random what bugs happen to whom. Of course there are general bugs that effect everyone, but most seem to be random. That makes it even harder to test for them before the release. I can understand the quality test argument for bugs that happen to every single user every single time, but not with the other ones.

Some people say, these pack is worse with bugs than the previous ones. For me personally, nothing tops the bugs I expierienced (and still expirience) with the Australia pack. Was that the worst pack regarding bugs? Probably not, I just had bad luck with it.

By the way: Bugs are a result to problems in programming. The "Bintuwrong" was a failure in character development / art. Two totally different majors even. You wouldn't ask a language scientist to fix a math problem, just because they both work on the same project.

@AlexVonHumbug you are assuming that because they haven't been fixed, then they aren't working on them at all. A lot of these bugs probably still exists because they haven't figured out the cause yet. Considering how many lines of code go into making a program, it can be like finding a needle in a haystack. They may not even be able to replicate the bug on their systems, which makes it pretty much impossible to figure out what the issue is then. Another thing that can happen is that fixing one bug leads to a new bug (or even multiple new bugs). In which case they wouldn't release an update until they have these bugs figured out.

Fairly certain the couple of people working on the looks of the animals aren't skilled in the coding mechanics of the game and vice versa...
My game works okay, not to my exact requirements but fine enough for me to keep playing it.

Hello, is anyone else experiencing issues with animal market since the update. Now when I am selling animals on the market the conservation points come through but the animal does not disappear from my trade centre. The only way I can get it to update is to save, close and reopen. This has only been an issue for me since the update.

This happened a few Days ago when I've traded Penguins with someone. I've also needed to reload for them to dissappear from the Trade Center
