Photographers and explorers, we need you

List updated. We are in need of a photo for: Blua Hypa Glowing Green Giant - Blua Hypa HT-F d12-1226

My best screenshots of that have my ship in the way. ;)

First post updated! We've shrunk the list considerably and thank you to everyone who has helped!

We've still got some missing pictures, so please see if you can contribute.

Its highly likely that Odyssey will make obsolete a lot of the Geological and Topographical POIs that were discovered during the Horizons era.

The GMP would be grateful for updated screenshots of these particular locations to see if the actual feature still holds some interest, or even exists anymore. If any Odyssey client explorers heading out into the black in the next few months plan to pass nearby such locations, please take a look and post any updated astrophotography pics of such locations to this thread.

We may have to archive all of the ones that have radically changed.

I'm grabbing The Crown of Ice. I'm stationed at the highest peak since I finished this:
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-biggest-vehicle-climb-ever-attempted.566932/ (really wished this could have made it a little update note to EDSM before the GMP froze but I was too late)

Anyways, as soon as the client updates I'll report from there. I could get to other places of the center of the galaxy after that if nobody's near.

map lists https://www.edsm.net/en/galactic-mapping#2/0/0/25000|geyserPOI,organicPOI,surfacePOI|552 - which is not a surface poi. i guess that poi does not need an odyssee check but to be put in a different category?

The prominent impact crater on that world seems to be the main attraction, and the reason why it was submitted as a Topographical feature. Its likely that it'll be gone in Odyssey. If so then that POI will need to be archived.
listed the wrong poi above - the crater i'm gonna check!

but this https://www.edsm.net/en/galactic-mapping#2/0/0/25000|geyserPOI,organicPOI,surfacePOI|2032 "Caria Void Forest" "... Penduncle Trees and their pods" shoudln't be a surface poi, should it?

Its not listed as a surface POI, its listed as an Organic POI (the naming convention in the URL is a bit misleading and old code).

Seems we only have around 5 or 6 organic POIs on the maps. In Horizons stuff like that was a bit of a grey area for the GMP to find an appropriate category for. But I think Organic POI will be a category we'll probably start using for very rare and interesting fauna finds, and move the crystals to a new category.

Thanks for the heads up!

Currently I'm on journey around galactic centre, and I see, that a lot of (usually archived) POIs, mainly planetary nebulas haven't their photos. Do you need their screenshots, or they aren't welcome, because amount of planetary nebulas is massive, and they use only few models?
