VR support 'not at launch' for Odyssey

Frontier should probably contact Steam and get that corrected so they aren't misleading and don't create even more angry customers. Full VR support is the only thing that could potentially get me to purchase, and I'd be furious if I were tricked into buying it and it weren't there.

Or It could be absolutely true.

The tags are user ones, not official...

On steam the Odyssey page now has a VR tag on it. Just FYI

Not for me it doesn’t:

Sure you’re not looking at the ED homepage? IE:

EDIT: Ahh, tags. Yeah they’re just user generated. Doesn’t mean anything.

Honestly I’m happier with them not endorsing this as a full VR build ready for the wilds. Fits somewhat with a policy of doing a proper job down the line, and not seeing this build as that...

I am not arguing anymore about this believe what you want.
No arguments here, just asking, do you really think that they would include full VR support without announcing it? It's probably the single biggest hot button issue and is probably costing them more sales than any other single issue. It would be an extremely poor business decision to add it in without telling the folks (like myself) who refuse to purchase until it's implemented.

I have a feeling, with the vociferous complaints when it was initially announced that Odyssey would not include VR, that if it had been fully implemented in time for release, yes, they would have made it public!

anyone that wanted to leave Elite due to them removing VR from the game has already left.
Not true. If they're anything like me, they'll just play Horizons if/until VR support is added. Meaning, Fdev makes no additional money on them until they deliver a product we want to buy. Purchasing Odyssey on a promise is foolhardy, especially with FDev's track record with their promises.

To be fair I dont believe Odyssey is a product ANYONE wants, never mind just VR players. The target audience for Odyssey is clearly "Pew pew Warzone COD" kiddies. None of whom play Elite.

When your arguments are 'nobody here cares about EDOVR' (in a live thread about EDOVR being desired), and 'nobody wants EDO', in a forum full of buzz about it, you've done all the aburd reductionism yourself pal ;)
ah another reply in which you continue to provide no counter argument, only personal attacks.

Man you must have excelled at debate class in middle school
