The patch seems to have improved my framerate around 15-20 frames. I gave it a quick spin and the highly lit plane base I was in now gave me 30-40 fps instead of below 30 it was previously. The station performance was improved as well.

since when is it a fact that all caps means yelling

it is not a fact, it is what is considered as shouting...but by no means a fact or any type of a reality

and I am 65
I am old decrepid and have no tech skills...lucky I can even see the keyoard.

I had an update come through Steam about 45 minutes ago but whenever I launch again (after closing and restarting Steam):

  • Launcher says "Update Required"
  • No new update seems to be appearing
Came here to see if other people are getting through or not?

I can't even attempt to select the older (Horizons or vanilla) modes because X'ing the Update Required message closes the launcher.

Same issue. I had to start edlaunch.exe manually in the steam dir. Then update odyssey and then steam would start it again.

The fact LEP owners are missing it on Steam still is a massive mess.

I've closed and restarted Steam a few times, no dice. Same issue as mentioned above. Launcher says "Update Required," and I've set Elite to High Priority.

I am just 50 and same situation... in old times I can handle cheats face to face... but there is no face, even no voice of any cheater around... so what r anyone expect me to do...?

  • Increased suit thermal resistance to allow disembarking on some hotter planets

We are aware that there are some concerns regarding performance and we are working to provide solutions and improvements. We have found a number of Commanders have improved their experience by following these steps:

Navigate to this file location:

  1. %LOCALAPPDATA%Frontier DevelopmentsElite DangerousOptionsGraphics
  2. Make a backup of every file in the graphics folder, and place it somewhere safe for future reference.
  3. Delete the original files in the Graphics folder.
  4. Restart the game.
