I see a LOT of people are having problems. How many of you who have problems have ever, in the launcher, sent Frontier Development your "hardware survey" data so fdev have a clue about the hardware their users are running the game on? You should probably send that data whenever you upgrade components too.
Well, a lot of these problems could have been avoided.
No, I'm not going to blame anyone now (people don't like to be blamed, even if they are actually at fault).
A lot of the problems could have been avoided if fdev had been developing more openly. fdev would have discussed ideas with the community and let the community test the developments (not just a couple of weeks before release, no). fdev would not have delayed announcing updates and additions to the sea and would have starved the community of information.
i remember people warned about this, and i warned about it myself.
did fdev listen? no. they won't this time either, which means odyssey is far from being the last problematic release.
i want to repeat, i'm not trying to harass or blame anyone.
I don't know how to put it delicately, what's being said.
One of these polls came to me during alpha testing and the day before the release. Have they not seen the system specifications of most users?
Always. And the Steam Hardware Survey is probably a better strawpoll of average hardware. Which seems to be about what the average hardware specs I see on the forum is.
Just played for another couple of hours and only 1 problem - a blue cobra. Other than that, all working well and completed a couple of planet based missions - good fun. I don't use Steam - might this be an issue? I also completely deleted the Alpha before installing. Just a thought.

I can now only log on via Horizons.
Depends what you are doing, I can get a CTD within minutes of logging because i was farming mats and that seems to crash the game when the bins get near filled, I mean I could go do something else but I have nothing else I want to move on to until I have the stuff I need to do what I planned and i may find another bug just as bad doing the next thing. it took me loing enough to get the game downloaded installed and then patched let alone now can't reliably stay connected.
This exactly. I was farming at Jameson's and one of the materials was full then I was getting transaction errors. Had to go to a station and use Materials Exchange.
Same, but at Davs Hope, the mats I can't farm are now all full and I just need to top off the rest but 8 out of 10 times i can't make a complete circuit without the transaction error. i have submitted a report along with everyone else, the list there is quite long now!
hola alguien me puede ayudar a solucionar el error de orange sidewinder? estube jugando sin problema hasta el dia viernes 21 desde entonces no e podido volver a entrar e desisntalado el jeugo stean y hasta win 10, reinstalado drivers etc, etc desvinculado cuentas y vuelto a vincular las mismas eliminador buferrs y restaurado todo a valores originales, y sigo sin poder entrar al juego? alguien puede ayudar?
entiendo que es un lanzamiento grande para el juevo y por eso hubieron varias pruebas hantes del mismo lanzamiento, este es el momento que yon o veo a nadie tratando de solucionar los problemas que tenemos los jugadores que ademas emos pagado por un producto x adelantado y que no solo no es lo prometido si no que ademas daña la experiencia de juego que habia estado disfrutando todos estos años, que debo de hacer? ay alguien de frontier que este tratando de solucionar esto? yo llevo 3 dias esperando soluciones pero nadie me indica que pasos seguir? agradeceria un poco de informacion o

Amazing to me How Game companies get away with releasing such crappy games today.
Maybe cause nobody has the Balls to Demand a Refund.
Not talking just about ED here, as they are closer to the top of the barrel than most.

Same here. Adjudication server errors all the time with Odyssey. It was fine yesterday.
I cant log in AT ALL. I got sent to a detention facility and had to get an APEX to get back to my ship and the game crashed on the first jump and now it wont let me log in to odyssey, horizons, OR the base game.
