We feel we haven't had a proper tick yesterday, in particular one war that did not progress. Might this explain your issue?Conflicts are not ending all the time - reminds me of 3.2. Started a thread on it
no. we had an election counting up, and states went from pending to active. We feel we haven't had a proper tick yesterday, in particular one war that did not progress. Might this explain your issue?
That's sure what I thought, but in the (few) systems I've checked where the controlling faction owns all stations/outposts/bases they ended up owning all the settlements, too. In one system where a single other faction held an installation the controlling faction still owned all the settlements. I haven't looked yet at systems with a broader mix of ownership.
In my home system there won't be any wars because of the change. YMMV.
It gets worse. Its a couple of hours after the tick, and I can see tick changes have happened in my system on Inara.
I log on to EDO from the Desktop, and see the system state from BEFORE the tick.
Swith to EDH, and the changes appear.
Dont know if its a caching bug, or if EDO servers are not getting their data a quick as other servers
NB - Switched back to EDO, and it is still Pre-Tick.
I feel like this comment didn't age well at all.Mine are that I will be able to get most of my group back to work the BGS!
Most of my group like odyssey and we are back to playing every week. Before this we had not done much for at least 6 months in elite.I feel like this comment didn't age well at all.
Honestly, congrats. Most of my friends at this point said "screw this" and literally haven't touched the game since Odyssey came out. I'm the exception. Looking at the Steam stats, at least, the interest in the game has really jumped off a cliff, and my group (middle-aged guys) just don't have time to wade through the Odyssey bulls**** when they could be playing a game that actually works. C'est la vie. Most of my group like odyssey and we are back to playing every week. Before this we had not done much for at least 6 months in elite.

Also, we are all Arma 3 players and are used to a buggy game with a low frame rate.... so that will also be part of the "why" my group do not really mind elite.Honestly, congrats.
