Massive PvP First Person fights on planet surfaces

Anyone up to organize a event :cool: maybe a faction war for a system or something else. I want tactical fights on open terrain !

Some Ideas & things to make before an event like this could occur:

  • A good Planet to fight on ( a few candidates with Atmo and near blue skies)
  • with a Settlement with Docking Stations or a near orbital station to drop in from orbit
  • near some craters or stones or even bases who are no populated (fighting zone)
  • open for ideas for the location
  • Testing how many Players could be in this Fight (Ground & Air)
  • Could Pilots bring the Fighters to the fighting zone?
  • Could we get Air Support in the fight?
  • Could we get Tank support (SRV)
  • Should the teams wear a special color?
  • Testing various modes like "capture the ship" or "last team standing"
  • Rewards?
  • You can do this without me but when you test it pls post the number of players who where in the fight (ground & air)
  • Why abandoned settlements? Because on every respawn, you can target the settlement to drop in fast.
  • Could we mark our own signal on the ground?

I know hard to believe if this is possible in EDO but we have to test and try!

Planet Canditades:
Please help me search some atmo planets with a abandoned settlement and a near orbital station.

If so, it would be a good test :D but we could organize fights on different planets with a player limit? One or 2 pilots to bring in the fighters from a settlement and for every faction 2 air support ships with Air to ground fire.


Did forget the tanks (SRVs) ;)

Not sure if you have noticed that or not, but it is 12 vs 12 allways. Otherwise that will happen in another instance I suspect.

Hmmm....

... thinking of organizing such an event. A cool sandy planet with a high atmosphere would be nice and we should find a settlement who is close to a few little craters and stones for cover. First prob would be, when the Cmdrs wait at the settlement, would it be possible that a pilot take them to the fighting zone and of course before the event, testing how many players can be on foot in one instance.

Are there ingame events of mass First Person Meetings? Do anyone know anything about that?

WE have plenty of time in ED and we have to search, test and LogIn again a lot I think... ...so no stress.

Hmm, than we simply should make a first test :D

If anyone knows a cool atmo planet who looks awesome, we could determine where we make a test and search for a few people who would be in. If there are gankers it isnt that bad so bring a cheap ship :). If we only could get 30 Cmdrs in one location (Air, Ground and SRV), it would be great to see if this is possible.

I know one planet who could be cool but I have to search ingame tonight and will post it later.
