We have seen some discussion regarding where to buy premium weapons and suits in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey and we wanted to clarify this further.

Premium weapons and suits are the truly valuable items with different stats that Pioneer Supplies stores like to bring out for the most enthusiastic clients. What that means is that these premium items are unique exclusives and once purchased, they are gone. This means one Commander can buy them and then that item is no longer for sale. If you see someone suggest they got a certain premium weapon from store X they are the ONLY person to have purchased it. That item will not be available in that store should you go and investigate yourselves.

So if you see a premium weapon or suit, make sure to grab it quick before someone else snaps it up! In future we may increase the stock availability of premium items but right now these are unique exclusive items.

Nope. Can be any type of station including ground ports. Gotta be a port though, not a settlement

There's a good chance that they were raided before you got to them pre-tick

No, thx, I hold any these FOMO sales pitches in very low esteem. But confirming it save a lot of Commanders valuable time being wasted in trying out.

Am I right in taking that as meaning that no new 'uniques' will be appearing until/if Fdev press 'the button' to do so? If I look in station XYZ and it's not got any then it'll never have any? Or will there be a slow eb of 'uniques' appearing around the bubble(s)?

I spent about two hours station hopping. I'm getting tired of the sales snark the Pioneer's Provisions have.

Unless they hired an intern to press a restock button (which would be a pretty fun description on a c.v.), it’s automatic. One theory is that it is linked to the Thursday server tick, but it could be more frequent.

I just picked up a G2 weapon at a Pioneer that had no premium weapons the previous time I was there (before and after the server tick today (?) ).

Right now, everyone is scouring the shops for upgraded weapons. This will probably calm down as people have upgraded loadouts, so it should get a bit easier.

I have been snapping them up pretty often, only occasionally not buying them, particularly if they are unmodified and of a lower upgrade than suits or weapons I already own
on the plus side there are an awful lot of systems and an awful lot of shops in those systems.... always worth checking anywhere you dock

I want to add that these items replenish at the weekly server restart, so you'll have the best luck station hopping after the server restart.
Have gotten all G3 suits, and lots of G3 weapons as well. Also if it's a well known system I wouldn't waste my time unless you spawned in the station, it's gear is probably gone.

This is confirmed ? if so also when was server restart?
