On places like the third image, I get a weird thing: I flew towards the white area in the back and when I got there the "snow" went away leaving dull brown terrain. And then sometimes the effect was the other way round, brown begoming white when flying over

Yes! Better actually in my opinion. I never really liked the above in dev picture because it looked so... I don't know. It doesn't look bad.
I wouldn't mind these textures and effects if they were very rare and I'm certain there's places on Earth where it looks exactly like it. The tech can do things like that now, that's for sure.
Anyone want a close to home gold rush system? The rings contain tons of painite too. Yup... 8 life signals, 6 life signals, 5 life signals, 3, 3, 3... it's insane. Also note: All bodies with biologicals have the same resources. Additionally, ain't nobody got time for that... I'm leaving the system having only taken two footballs. The rest are for whoever. Enjoy. Awesome system.

I may stop by, been sitting on the same credits I made during the opal rush and have been eyeballing a carrier. But I refuse to sell my 1bil worth of engineered parts in storage or the 3bil worth of engineered ships. So I think i need like checks prices , another 4bil if I want a nice comfortable amount left after the purchase. Thanks for the info.
