I don't care about patch notes, I wouldn't even expect any after yesterday's scheduled patch. I would just like to know when the game is going to be available. I had to leave the PC running last night for it to finish the huge Thursday update, I can't believe this one is planned/scheduled, the roadmap said weekly not daily. So far in two whole days I've been able to play the game for about 2 hours.
Yep, I modified my steam review to include the two patch a week cadence. Absolutely unprofessional- in any industry. Mistakes happen, so releasing a second patch here or there to hotfix something is both acceptable and appreciated. However, making errors that necessitate a patch for your patch- by routine- that is simply unprofessional in any industry.
You implement your product correctly the first time. You just do it. When you've shown a consistent inability to do such a thing- on both a macro and micro level, that is when you deservedly draw ire.
It must be comically easier to work for fdev and similar gaming companies than say, anybody who develops for enterprise/commercial
Edit: I actually do expect patchnotes. I am 100% invested in understanding exactly how this company is modifying the product license I'm using. Especially when the modifications could include things like security fixes and who knows what. No company should be encouraged to make undocumented changes to software you run on your devices.
