In case someone is interested: The message in the picture of the tweet translates into "Make the right choice"

Sure it's not "relog the right cheese"?

I hope whoever wins has the sense to have the items ferried away as soon as possible so they are not all in one place again.

To lose one megaship can be regarded as a misfortune, to lose both looks like carelessness.

"Make the right choice" is pretty much a coin flip. We don't really know what the two options are.
The key is probably to question whether there are actually only two options, in that sort of situation.

I wonder if Salvation is an old INRA scientist... it would both let him fit his self-description and explain why he knows so much (and clearly more than he pretends to), and explain his dislike for the upstart inter-superpower anti-Thargoid force ... while not requiring him to be an alias for someone specific we've heard of.

I do not think Aegis done much last few years except kicking Thargoids' nests here and there. Not sure who Salvation is, but Aegis had their chance with 400kT guardian tech.

Oh, that's a nice graph. I've long felt that Aegis never had any serious player support. You're either neutral towards them from the ocassional GalNet, or you're seen enough of the lore to be against them. They should have died out long ago. The most "support" I've seen for them has been a few forum messages from people who think being anti-Aegis means I want the Thargoids to come and eat us all. In that case I'd be pro-Aegis, their track record speaks for itself.

I just hope Salvation is a nutter and that everyone is sleepwalking to disaster with him.

Well, in this day and age of story telling anyone with the name "Salvation" is telegraphing that he's actually the bad guy from a mile away. But seriously, what's the worst thing that could happen? Interesting new content that could shake up the status quo in the bubble? Oh no, how sad. ;)

I'm curious where all of this is going AND I get a fancy shard cannon on top of it. win-win ;)

I just want consequences that are long lasting, and the fault of players. Its the equivalent of being told not to push a button really.

I doubt Salvation could be called a "good guy" - Elite doesn't really do those - but there's more than enough evidence against Aegis to make Salvation the right choice here. We'll see how that lasts, but if one option is Aegis, you take the other option.
