That's just semi correct - yes everything has a pattern.I think people also think that 'Random / procedural' = no pattern at all, whereas if you look at nature, there are patterns everywhere.
yep you can use a whole lot of deep editing to allow a very complex procedural that is very efficientThat's just semi correct - yes everything has a pattern.
But: the trick is to hide the obvious patterns and this can be done. One "simple" (bc i don't know their engine etc) way would be to modify prefab tiles with noise patterns.
That way you can generate a near infinite number of patterns without breaking the trick.
But here they had just 2 stamps and put them just everywhere.
