State of the Game

I'd 100% watch the sequels before the prequels.

I actually enjoyed the sequels, but they are not without their problems, "The Force Awakens" is a good film, the other two are still better than the prequels, but not up to the originals. Of the Mouse House Star Wars films, I'd go with:

Best
Rogue One
The Force Awakens
Rise of Skywalker
The Last Jedi
Solo
Worst

First two only for me. And I much prefer the prequels to the sequels. At least they had some sentiment of originality.

No - that had the command ship with the guy with the half-face who said he could not be betrayed, then being betrayed...

Oh, and the manoeuvre where you point a big ship at another big ship and engage the hyperdrive ...
Oh yeah the whole "I know you want to betray me, and like the girl, which is why I will let my guard down and ask you to kill the girl".

I mean, with sith like that, they don't need jedi anymore.

The are. The two will start fighting over something, then grump, then a cross attack about friends, then food, then feelings, then more cross attacks about work.....

Sick I can scrape up and clean, its a job and its done. I crave that simplicity rather than the world I just don't understand.
Maybe it's my social-worker background then.

I remember coding in assembler with so strict timing that you were literally counting processor "ticks" needed to execute your code to make specific instructions run in exact moment when CRTube in monitor was pointed at exact dot/line on the screen, to switch color bank content / graphical mode / sprites bank to effectively work around hardware limits and display more colors / resolution / number of sprites on screen then it was theoretically possible by hardware specs.
It was that sort of stuff that got me into computing in the first place - I love assembler (sorry letting my inner nerd show there !)
Pushing H/W beyond what people think it is capable of, rather than writing a game, finding it's slow, and just upping the minimum specs.

Hmmm, hang on ....

Try French biscuits. Abysmal dunkers.
Mr Smartypants obviously never had:

I hate to use my old computers because my old C16 died when I tried to use him a few years ago, it is probably the TED that died, so it would have died anyway, thats why I have a Raspberry Pi with all the relevant emulators running on my TV.

last year I started to build a Z80 based computer on my own, (its very nice that you can still buy Z80 processors) and I wanted to build it on breadboards but that was a bad idea, I run into lots of trouble because things are not working like they should and I blame the breadboards for having a bad quality even though I actually bought good ones.
I think I have to restart that project and I probably should buy circuit boards this time, I still have all the old stencils for etching these boards but I don't have any chemicals and the etching bath. I should make an eagle PCB design and send it to china ... it's all so troublesome. I shouldn't have given my old DIY Z80 away to a school
Or if you have the opportunity to visit Hongkong or Shenzhen across the border - Shenzhen is very good with all kind of prototyping and they can craft it rather quickly. It is as well a good source for all kind of electronics you might need. Not sure if you can enter China at this point in time though.

I respect your calling and ambition.

(Un)fortunately I have been blessed/cursed with hardcoded avoidance of setting myself useless goals and achieving them the hard, burdensome way IRL
My only ambition is to find or even create easier/faster then others are using way to achieve any goal I have to complete for some RL reasons.

For me, yes, A New Hope is a masterpiece of a film. At least, the theatrical release before George decided to insert all sorts of crud.

Out of the SE's Return of the Jedi is easily the worst (as far as I'm concerned of course). It's a very poor movie anyway, totally spoiled by stupid teddy bear\cats but then Lucas added a song and dance routine because he thought that 'would be funny'.

I wish I could program assembler better than I can now, as a teenager I was too lazy for that and had no access to the books. Between 2005 and 2007 I had a lot of time and made up a lot, but it's only enough for simple things. That was also the time when I got it into my head that I should solder a computer together myself at least once in my life. That worked because nowadays you can find everything on the Internet.

It's silly of me to even imagine that it could possibly not be the case, but I presume you have played both TIS-100 and Shenzen I/O?
