State of the Game

You know - the fans - or rather a couple of youtube content creators - did that. They gave Lucas such a hard time over the prequels, he decided to sell up .. So be careful what you wish for, Odyssey deniers.
Is Big D's Star Wars really that bad? I cut off the ties after the prequels myself. The expanded universe, video games and P&P RPG sessions have always been my SW canon, and remain so. The only thing I'll say in defense of Lucas is that SW Episode 1: Racer is a wicked great game which stands on its own merit in the AG racing scene.

we were discussing that the other day - me too, complete with wobbly crashing ram-pack... 🙄
The thermo printer was a work of genius though!
We had the thermal printer for our Speccy (and a MicroDrive(tm)). I'm not sure what use it was supposed to be, a little roll of silver thermal paper not quite the width of toilet paper (and about the same finish as the school toilet paper of the time, not great for wiping, good for polishing tho...)

About the only thing we ever printed on it was the cars we designed in 'Battlecars'.

I'm with you on SW:Racer. Someone needs to pick that up and remake it with modern graphics... You can still pick it up on Steam, you know!

I'd 100% watch the sequels before the prequels.

I actually enjoyed the sequels, but they are not without their problems, "The Force Awakens" is a good film, the other two are still better than the prequels, but not up to the originals. Of the Mouse House Star Wars films, I'd go with:

Best
Rogue One
The Force Awakens
Rise of Skywalker
The Last Jedi
Solo
Worst

You mean "yet another death star", and the "slowest and most silly pursuit in the history of pursuit" ? :D

Yeah bacterial, ok, but there was another with a name. But the scanner says "everywhere". Literally everything is blue (dabadee, dabada).
There's a couple of things that can fox you. The invisible rock issue sometimes causes flora to disappear... The other thing is, even though the whole planet is marked as a possibility, we know we only find them on [relatively] flat surfaces, onto which they sometimes blend very well...

I like olives, especially filled with chili paste, a bit of goat cheese and a glass of wine...
Would that be a nice Chianti.... Clarice?

Where is the mod?.
Put it this way - When I came out of the cinema after watching the prequels, it was with a sense of disappointment. I wasn't looking forward to the next film in the trilogy, I was hoping it would suck less. Coming out of the Force Awakens, I was excited and looking forward to what came next.

The Force Awakens second best?

Its horrific. In fact all of the Disney Trilogy are so bad it made me just cry with pain as my fav franchise was just drop kicked into the bin.

Originals
R1
Mandarloian
Solo

The force awakens is the one where they slowly stalk the rebels, to kill the ship one by one, so they can find help ? In the most perfect Austin Powers way ?
Right ? Or is it another, they tend to blend together.
