To be fair, just viewing the post DID push my GPU above the melting temperature of lead.

Reflections are super difficult to do without a massive performance hit.

Indeed, my intel celeron and geforce 32 are running the game as they always did, at a steady 5fps. No change in performance.
Are you sure it's not your drivers ?

Oh I know... It's the same for most cultural take away food in the UK... Indian, Chinese, Thai... Tastes completely different when eaten in the country/locale of origin!

Dunno how it works in old Blighty, but over here if you want the good stuff, all you have to do is to find a hole-in-the-wall restaurant run by a couple of people from the old country.

Just stay away from the chain restaurants.
